Scars: A Crisis Tale

No Caption Provided

All the once green lands of the earth were no more than ash and charcoal. The air was heavy with the smell of burnt flesh and smoke hung in a haze that partially obscured the blood-red sun. The cities stood like skeletons, barren wastelands, empty now that disease had taken whatever the battle did not. Even the oceans stood still like semi-stagnant pools of death and decay, there were no waves as even the wind had left the earth and no Atlantean strong enough to stand against the harsh world of the surface. The skies were barren, no birds flew or sang, And all the while the oppressive heat rained down like the breath of hell.

But in this state of decay there were still survivers, and one walked across the streets of the once Platinum Railroad of Science: Key City, the once glistening city so vibrant and full of life; smoldered with the heat of the sun and looked of death and hopelessness. The lone walker of the home of innovation shuffled along in a daze reflecting on how things could have gone so wrong. He trudged through empty alleys and through burning buildings as his feet bled and teeth of despair bit at his brain. Once a great hero he was nothing more than a shell of a man, his mind gone and his heart destroyed, he was LESS than a shell of a man.

He was a monster.

And there is nothing sadder than a monster with good intentions.

Jai Walker's empty eyes floated to a restaurant that stood strong, albeit slightly collapsed and the speedsters' eyes glistened as he recognized the establishment.

Dave's Diner, the place his parents met, where they fell in love, they used to take Jai here all the time as he was growing up. The smell of the fries temporarily expunged the scent of burning flesh from his nostrils and memories began playing through his mind, everything that had led up to this post-apocalyptic disaster Jai now resided in.

He remembered trying to rid himself of the disease plaguing his body by harnessing the Speed Force to levels never seen before hoping that it would overpower his disability and eradicate it.

And he remembered doing unspeakable acts in the face of trying to stop the Crisis that was approaching.

He had peered through the timeline finding critical points in the unfixed stream of time and worked to prevent them. Beginning to grow desperate in his attempts to save the world the hero began to descend into madness, arguing and even trading blows with his father to be.

Nothing he had done worked, no alterations, changes or deaths succeeded. Sleepless nights focused on the lives he had taken haunted him for he never wanted to do it. But as the months past by him he never stopped hoping and fighting to stop the Crisis.

But then it came and the world descended into madness, Jai and a legion of heroes stood on the front lines and witnessed as their worst nightmares came into view, versions of themselves armed with power they couldn't comprehend...

And they turned the world into a cesspit of destruction.

Now in a world destroyed and broken Jai walks the streets alone reflecting on the mistakes he had made and wondering what the world would have been like if he wasn't in it?

Wasn't in it...

What if...

Holy shit.

Holy shit.
Holy shit.

The Haven Session 4: Caught Speeding

So I almost got caught sneaking in my fathers house today.

The Haven's computer beeped slightly showing Jai it was time to begin. The young speedster had taken a break from the Haven and had been investigating the anomaly that had been surrounding his father. And lately the young speedster was becoming extremely confused. There had been no huge and world-changing differences, but anything surrounding his father, or Tachyon was completely altered. Jai had no idea how to fix it.

"So, I just broke into his house-My house. Y'know. Trying to see what I could find. I know I promised to finish my "origin" but this is important."

Flashback in 1st Person POV

No Caption Provided

As I sped into the front yard I couldn't help but look around. This house is my home, where the laughter happens and I can rest at the end of the day. It was the type of place where I could just be myself, let go. Roam free. If you step inside you'll feel it's so different, a place where the lungs choose to fill a little deeper and the heartbeat a little steadier. My mind felt a bit better just stepping foot on the grass that I had grown up with. I strode forward to the door where I put my gloved hand to the knob, with a slow twist and a click the mahogany entrance clicked and popped open silently. I stepped into my childhood home and I remember that it felt so surreal, to be somewhere so familiar yet so different. I could hear my father upstairs doing his homework or something like that.

As I searched around I saw a lot of the same. Honestly, it was what I didn't see that bothered me. No suit rings, no passageways in the house. Nothing that made it seem like the place I knew, the father I had wasn't the past version of the young boy who sat doing his schoolwork above him. Nothing was the same. Everything was different. And it needed to be changed. The world would need Alex West for what was to come. The world would need the Fastest Man Alive. And it's not me. It needed Tachyon, or whoever he would become.

I was so distracted in my own mind I didn't even hear my father come down the stairs, his foots thumped slightly as the young man made his way to my position. My face broke out in a sweat as I froze in place; Should I let him see me? Should I explain everything? If I do will I create another paradox I can't fix? Eventually, my fear overpowered my curiosity and I ran, I ran so fast leaving only a rush of wind and a flicker of lightning that bounced off of a lamp shade. My soles pushed against the ground. The Crisis. My legs tightened and my muscles pumped like pistons. The Crisis. My arms pumped faster and faster. Powerless. And as the electricity of the Speed Force soared out of my body, flowing like the passage of time itself I knew what I had to do.

Flashback End.

Jairus West-Walker looked at the camera and his face dawned with clarity. His shoulders broadened and he said clearly "The Origin will have to wait. Because the Crisis is coming. It'll need Alex West. Which means I'll have to bring him back. I'll have to bring back Velocity."

"The Lightning will have to strike again."

The Haven Session 3: You Can't Outrun Tragedy

"Dad...What the hell did you do?"

"H-How?"

Jai West-Walker stood dumbfounded at the scene of his future childhood home, his eyes scanned the area at superspeed and despite the speeds, he was processing at he still couldn't wrap his mind around this. "H-How?..." Because in the hour that Jai had been in the Haven things had changed -His home had changed- His future home looked different, less lively, desolate, empty...except that it wasn't. Because lying in a chair in the living room was Jai's father Alexander West. But things were wrong; this Alex was younger, more innocent-looking, and most weirdly Jai couldn't feel the Speed Force anywhere on his body as if it had been ripped forcefully from him. Another thing was that this wasn't just an isolated incident, Jai could feel temporal anomalies scattered around Key City and after a little bit of investigating he found out that the changes had happened to his mother, and both of his grandparents. But not to him, and he didn't know why.

His mind was still a surging perplexity as he made his way back to the Haven, no less than 30 minutes after his last recorded session was he sitting back down in his regularly used chair and staring at the white wall where he knew the camera's resided. "I think that you should know exactly how my dad died. Maybe I should just get it off of my chest permanently it seems pretty appropriate seeing what crazy shit is going on right now. Anyway it started a few weeks after I had gotten my powers-"

Flashback in 1st Person POV

I had been a speedster for a little bit under a month now, and honestly it was pretty cool. It was something that I now shared in common after learning my dad was the Flash Lightning. Something I hadn't known before; and even though the ALS was slowing me down I wasn't losing hope, my dad was able to just calm me down and make me feel ok like everything was going to just drift right through me. He made me feel untouchable. Like nothing bad could ever happen to me. That's how cool my dad was, he managed to do everything in his life with such vigor and life that it was impossible to not just stare in awe, and that was before I even knew about his superpowers, and after I found that out there was no question about it; my dad was the coolest ever. And for a while we were untouchable. Until the moment that we weren't.

It was a dark night, the shadow's pooled around Key City and the sky rumbled as if it was an omen for the death that was about to occur. I and dad were on patrol, y'know just speeding around the city searching for any problems as my dad recited his goofy Flash Facts. It was just a regular night. It was just a regular night...

There had been a fire and me and pops decided to check it out, he thought it would be cool to teach me about vortexes thinking that it would be a good educating moment. It was cool, the first time I had tried something like that. It was awesome, but when I looked over my dad was gone, snatched. I knew I couldn't just leave the building burning so I put out the fire as quickly as I could then I went searching for my father. I ran through the list of places he could be in my mind, then I began checking off the ones I had already searched. I sped all around Key City looking, I checked my house, the KCPD...everywhere. But I couldn't find a single trace. It was like he had vanished. But he hadn't, because as I began looking around myself I began seeing things, the Speed Force in the area was forcing my mind to kick start and operate on a faster pace allowing me to see what was really going on. The truth was that Key City had turned into a battle zone between the Fastest Man Alive Alex West and the Time Master, and even going my fastest I couldn't fully perceive the events that were transpiring around me. It was that fast. But through a lot of running I managed to catch the two at their last stopping location which happened to be our house on the outskirts of Key City.

And that's when things went from bad to horrible.

The Time Master looked at me clad in his black demonic uniform and his head tilted menacingly as he looked at me as if he was staring inside my soul. Then he turned to my father and pointed at him. "I told you that I would make you a better hero didn't I? And now look at you. Key City's best savior. A family, a home, everything that you ever wanted. But alas young Alexander, your race has run it's course. It is time for me to give my learnings to the next generation. Your son should prove a good pupil."

The look in my dad's eyes under his cowl turned murderous, and he turned to the Time Master as lightning surged out of his eyes! "Stay away from my son!" He leaped forward and the intent in his eyes were fully noticed. His enemy responded in kind and a blur of battle ensued. Blows landed, but it became quite clear in the end that the Time Master was toying around. It only took a few strikes for him to reduce my father to nothing more than a bleeding heap on the grass.

(This Song is NSFW, I suggest you skip to 2:09 for the full experience of the scene)

That's when he started creeping towards me, blue electricity flickering off of his form, his demonic claws elongating like a creature out of a horror movie and I stood there frozen in place unable to move. Unable to think, unable to do anything but stand there in utter terror as I waited to die, and as his hand swung forward there was suddenly something shoving me out of the way, and there was the sudden thunk as hand met flesh and just sank right through. "A tragedy makes a hero." And before I could even register that he had just shoved his hand through my father's chest he was gone. '

No Caption Provided

My father slumped to the ground breathing and bleeding and crying silently, and I found myself sliding down to the ground as my life's energy just began draining away like water down a drain. But my dad was holding on, maybe it was his powers, maybe it was because he was just stubborn...but he was holding on, he tried. *Chokes up* he grabbed me and pulled me close and started talking."J-J-Jairus, Oh Jai I couldn't have asked for a better son, y-y-y-you di--didn't grow up r-running up b-b-ui-buildings. Or Moving faster then light, b-b-ut you have a h-heart and that's b-b-better then quick legs. It took me s-s-so...Sooo long to figure that out."

He would grab my hands and pull tight as if I was his final lifeline

"Wh-When my mom died I was lost, I m-made bad choices. I did bad t-things. I do not want that for you J-Jai. T-The Time Master is g-going to come for you. Which means you n-need to run. Run Jai."

"Run."

I took my suit off and tore part of my T-Shirt underneath in a hopless attempt to do something. Anything. But it was too late I...I could feel his hand go cold even through his armor, his cowl was torn off his head and his ginger hair was exposed to the world, his eyes stared at me but they weren't his. They were just dull orbs of what used to be my rock. My Lightning Rod. I felt something slide out of his hand and I looked at it as it fell. A small golden ring...a small ring with a lightning bolt engraved on it and inside the ring was not a costume, but a picture of him as a teenager with his best friend Connor back when he was Velocity.

My heart shattered.

I have always been a giver even before I got my powers, I was warm and loving. Even as a child I never cried, seeking to make others happy. Often people sought me in times of trouble and I gave all I had - my whole heart and showered love upon them. But when I looked at that my father's dead body next to this picture of him so full of life I can tell you I never felt more empty in mind, body or soul, never so bereft of any comfort. I have never felt so worthless or disposable, never so wretched and cold, but then as if someone had yanked something inside of my body I shook deep down and cried as if my brain was being shredded from the inside. Emotional pain flowed out of my every pore. Ambulance and Police sirens began invading my sense of hearing and I could see bystanders who had come to see what all the commotion was about, but all they found was me clutched over my dad's body. And from my mouth came a cry from so raw that even the eyes of the strangers around us were suddenly wet with tears as they watched their hero's lifeless shell. I couldn't stop, I couldn't stop. And in the end I did what my dad said.

I Ran.

Flashback End

Jai ended the recording and stormed out of the Haven without even an exit speech. But the floor was wet with fresh tears.

Jai's Origin To Be Concluded.

The Haven: Session 2

You may begin.

Jai took his seat once again and looked at the camera. His eyes drifted downwards and his fingers clenched with the pain of his disease. His face was shadowed by his past, clouded by his loss. But deep within his hazel irises shined a hidden power that not many noticed...or cared to see. With a voice that cracked Jai would begin to drift into the tale of what had happened in his story next.

Flashback in 1st Person POV

No Caption Provided

So I found myself in 2019. It was....wow. I mean it was the past. I had barely been a superhero and now I was already in the time travel business. The future was always something I had worried about. I'm not sure if it was because of my mind and lack of wisdom, but I never gave thought to all the time that was enclosed my life into only a small speck in a timeline. I had so much time. So much time that I let it slide through my fingers like worthless pennies. So much time that I watched it drain like water in a tub. So much time I stood as it flew across the empty horizon. And now I realize that I had so much time, and I wasted it. Now I realize that for some of us, today might be our last tomorrow. I had wasted it all. My dad was dead and my mom was gone to who knows where. I had worried so much about the future I had never even stopped to think of my past, and as the worlds newest speedster...that was not a smart thing.

2019 was a time where superpowered beings reigned supreme and it was a golden age, so interesting, but when I landed in Key City it was like getting slapped in the face, everything was the same but different at the same time, It was a city of wide avenues and places to sit and eat, to relax as folk went about their day. There were the science centers that gave Key City the alias the Platinum Railroad Of Science. Key had humongous sky towers in the centre that pierced the sky with their sharp ends. The rest of the city was parks and wild spaces, a chance to walk among nature or enjoy the trails on bicycles or horseback. Yet perhaps my favourite thing was the river that flowed through the outskirts of the city, crossing the bridges, I would pause just to look at the view I saw every day and loved it all the more. It may have been a city of the past but boy I still loved it. There are times my Grandfather would speak of the cars people used to have, the boxes on wheels that moved around cities spread out over the Earth, suffocating the soils and poisoning the air. I grew up so glad to be born later, after the struggles of the end of the insanity era, when our species almost killed our planet. It's as if there was a war going on but nobody noticed, too absorbed with other battles and ideas that locked the mind. Though I didn't think much of the past I had always wondered what I would have done if I'd have been alive back then, if I'd have followed the herd or been one of the shapers of the new world, the one we live in now. But now...I didn't have to wonder anymore. I could feel the timeline shifting around my lifeform integrating me in. 2019 was my new reality. Now, normally most time travelers would go and grab a souvenir discretely, make sure they took all the necessary precautions to not mess anything up. But me? I did perhaps the dumbest thing in the world...I went to see my father Alex West.

Flashback End

Jai would stand up and tell the Haven camera that he was finished, and as he went to leave the Haven he felt something deep in his bones, like when it rains and you can feel a bone break. It was like that and the young Speedster's eyes widened in surprise. Since he had arrived in 2019 his body had been attuned with the timeline, he could feel and notice shifts that occurred with almost crazy accuracy. Jairus could even "log" people who were time travelers and keep tabs on them; and that's when things started to get weird.

No Caption Provided

So with a blast of air and lightning Jai would race to the cause of the temporal disturbance and when he stopped his fists would drop to his sides in confusion. Jai's face washed blank with confusion like his brain cogs couldn't turn fast enough to take in the information from his wide eyes. Every muscle of his body just froze before a frown crept onto his face, soon Jai's entire face went furrowed. Until finally he opened his mouth and said with shock "Dad...What the hell did you do?"

The Haven: Session 1

The Haven, Present Day

Run.
Run.

"Those are the last words my dad ever said to me." Jai West laughs bitterly and shakes his head as he plops a seat down in the stark white room of the Haven. The young speedster is wearing his scarlet uniform with his cowl pulled low exposing his young face and brown hair. The young man wears a pain that makes him look extremely older than his 18 years, though his aging had been accelerated he still retains his youthful features and good looks. His hazel eyes looked down and he took a shallow breath trying to control his emotions, Thomas had suggested using the Haven to let out some of the pain that had grown in Jai's heart, he could spill and no one would ever know, but he could just say it. Just let it flow out of him. The computer clicked once notifying him to introduce himself.

"O-Oh right, My name is Jai West-Walker, and I'm the son of the Fastest Man Alive and one of the greatest Green Sentinels to ever exist. When I was 17 I saw my father killed by something impossible. After being diagnosed with ALS an accident made me the impossible, I was chosen by the Speed Force to fill in my fathers' shoes and I became the Fastest Kid Alive, but the Speed Force didn't compensate for the illness I carried, while I have amazing powers they also progress the ALS slowly killing me. After finally confronting the man who killed my father I was flung to the time period of 2019 where I work to solve murders as a CSI. To the outside world, I am an ordinary forensic scientist, but secretly I use my powers to fight crime and stop powerful beings like me. And one day, I'll find who killed my dad and get justice for my father."

The young speedster would look at the camera and cock his head slightly "That ok?" There would be a single click of approval and Jai would continue on. "I'll never forget the look on my dads' face as he died. I-I'll never be able to get it out of my head. But he wasn't scared. Just told me to run...maybe he would have said more, but he never got the chance. In that moment of loss my world collapsed - there was a light that became shadow, the pain still comes and goes every day. Sometimes I still call out for him but I remember the connection is gone... he's gone... and I know that my time to be alone has come. But who wants to be alone?"

The young speedster would exit his chair and leave the room with the camera still rolling. His pain evident like a gunshot, gushing out of his body. Then the cameral goes black, the last thing it sees in Jai's ferocious storm out of the room.

Bio
The Fastest Boy Aive
No Caption Provided

Jairus Walker was born on July 7th 2089 to Alexander Walker and Linda Jordan, his father was 22 when his son was born and he was extremely estatic to teach his boy about the gifts of the Speed Force, Alex was 5 when his powers manifested...so he waited, for 5 long years. But then another year passed, then another, and Jai still never manifested Speed Force abilities. The son of the Fastest Man Alive spent his early childhood not understanding why he wasn't a speedster like the rest of his family, he would spend hours upon hours trying to summon the abilities but they never came. He went to all of his family members seeking assistance, but to no avail. Jairus was just not a conduit. Then a day before his 17th birthday Jairus was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when.

Then one night when Jai was in his crime lab he was struck full of Speed Force energy and transformed. The ALS was halted and Jai did obtain the powers of the Speed Force, but something unforseen happened; the disease mutated in Jai's system adapting to the Speed Force it wasn't made known until Jai ran over half the speed of light for the first time, it stared as a minor discomfort. But the faster the boy ran the more it hurt...and his muscles and body completely shut down. Not knowing what else to do the Sentient dimension attacked the muscular disorder attempting to destroy it immediately, but this was harming Jai far to much, so he and his father found the limits of the disease and placed rules to hinder the pain Jai felt and he was told to never ever go above half the speed of light. Even through all the pain and hardship Jairus was still elated to be a speedster, with training from his father the young man quickly learned the basics of his ablities. Jai's potential is great, but it is greatly hindered by his physical restraints.

Then one night everything changed....during a fight with the Time Master, Alexander West died fighting for his son and wife's life. Broken and full of rage Jairus struck out on his own determined to destroy the man who killed his hero...disability or no. Crafting his own suit based off of his father's old uniform Jai struck out to kill the Time Master, trying to possibly find a way to beat back his own physical limitations. But after swiftly losing to the more experienced and powerful man Jai was flung back in time to the 21st Century by Hunter, Jai then realized that he was time-locked and unable to return home...determined to train himself and blow past the ALS he decided to be a hero. And as a sign of love and respect he took the name his father had used when he was Jai's age...and just like that, there was a new Velocity in town. And he was out for the Time Master's blood

The Speed Force
No Caption Provided

The Speed Force...The name is a little misleading. The Speed Force is a field of energy which exists just outside reality. Speedsters like the Flash Lightning can tap into this energy, which makes it possible for them to perform feats of amazing speed. With practice, they can learn to manipulate this energy as well.

The Speed Force can be used to create a protective aura around speedsters as they tap into its energies. This means that - while speedsters are running - things like friction, vision impairment, and resistance don’t apply. That means they don’t have to worry about their clothes catching on fire or their vision being blurred by the speeds. To change the direction of his/her running, a person needs to slow down the speed in the original direction and then accelerate in a new one. Sometimes, a person completely halts his/her movement before accelerating in a new direction. In order to either decelerate or accelerate, according to Newton’s law, a force must be applied. By using the Speed Force, Speedsters can change direction instantly without decelerating or losing speed. While a speedster runs he accelerates faster then his heart can beat, and faster then his lungs can intake air. The Speed Force acts as a substitute for these problems allowing the Speedster to run without problems

If Speedsters draw too much energy by running past the speed of light, the cosmic speed limit, they would risk losing themselves in the field. Wally Walker was the first to return from this fate, but not the last, Alex West, and Lucy Walker were able to do the same. Speedsters are unique even among each other, and the Walker family are the most powerful of them all, they each have a multitude of abilities that are unique to them.

Jai West Physiology

The Fastest Boy Alive

No Caption Provided

Jai Walker is possibly the most interesting of the Speedsters, born without powers and diagnosed with a fatal disease his father placed him into the Speed Force to save his life. When he reemerged Jai was changed physically, he now drew upon the Speed Force like his family before him. Jai's speed comes from a combination of muscular speed, a sped-up nervous system with faster nerve conduction velocity, and high energy resources and he discharges a trail of golden or yellow lightning behind him when he runs. The Mitochondria in Jai's body are in a super sped up condition allowing his body to function and draw energy at super speed. He is fast, but he isn't capable of exceeding lightspeed or even reaching lightspeed. He can possibly go 99% the speed of light but that causes him excruciating pain and almost killed him, even though he only went that fast for a moment. Jai usually caps his speed out at about Half the Speed of Light, which as fast as he can run without severe discomfort. The disease Jai held before he transitioned into the Speed Force somehow transferred with him...instead of completely helping him the Speed Force attempts to kill him if he exceeds past a certain speed limit. The Speed Force cannot help itself, it's contained within his body and fights to get rid of the disease at all times which is the only reason Jai can run at all...but the neurological disorder is to fast and multiplies far to quickly for the Speed Force to completely kill.

The Gifts Of Speed

By using his own Speed abilities and electric charge Jai can transport of particles or fluid by means of an electric field acting on a fluid which has a net mobile charge Jai is able to conduct, generate and subtly manipulate a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles such as electrons or protons which give Jai limited control over electric fields, electric charges, electric currents, and electromagnetism.

The quantum tunneling effect is a quantum phenomenon which occurs when particles move through a barrier that, should be impossible to move through. The barrier may be a physically impassable medium, such as an insulator or a vacuum, or a region of high potential energy. In classical mechanics, when a particle has insufficient energy, it would not be able to overcome a potential barrier. In the quantum world, however, particles can often behave like waves. On encountering a barrier, a quantum wave will not end abruptly; rather, its amplitude will decrease exponentially. This drop in amplitude corresponds to a drop in the probability of finding a particle further into the barrier. If the barrier is thin enough, then the amplitude may be non-zero on the other side. This would imply that there is a finite probability that some of the particles will tunnel through the barrier. By vibrating his molecules at a high enough frequency Jai can pass through material objects. But he rarely does this due to the fact that more often then not he causes molecular destabilization, causing the object he passes or vibrates through to explode or disintegrate, Jai will sometimes weaponize this, but not usually.

Jai can enhance and speed up his thought process so his mind and thoughts are a blur to any outside elements. He is basically impervious to telepathic abilities because the velocity of his thoughts is incomprehensible to anyone without the ability to move as fast as him - which is a very small list. Learning on the fly a big part of Jai's life, due to him not having his speed very long, But His speed powers allow him to read volumes of data almost instantaneously and fully understand them, it also helps him prepare for missions faster, and he can retain it in his long term memory.

Jai has the ability to encircle an opponent at high speeds and create a swirling vortex. This is a non-violent use of Jai's powers which allows him to disarm and incapacitate an opponent without resorting to a high-speed flurry of punches. He can also cause vortexes with his arms by swirling them at superspeeds in clockwise or counter-clockwise directions.

Jai's Uniform

Don't Burn Up

Jai wears a ring that holds his costume compressed within it. A gas allowes his costume to be compressed and held within his ring until he needs it. His street clothes were properly treated to take their place within the ring once he changed at superspeed. Jai designed his own costume, which is derived off of his fathers old Kid Flash uniform. He used a special cold cast polyester, which could be molded into miniature outfits from liquid material, that, when submersed in a special liquid, became sensitive to hydrogen, expanding on contact with the hydrogen in the air. A charge from the ring he wore on his finger caused the fabric to release the extra hydrogen and shrink into the ring.

His suit is completely scarlet with red gloves and darker shades of red on the shoulder areas, Like his fathers suits, there is a lightning emblem in the center of the chest, And to hide his identity, Jai wears a cowl that covers his entire head, but it leaves his eyes and, mouth, exposed There are also two golden lightning pieces on the sides of the cowl that act as the com links. The Suit is made out of a reinforced tri-polymer, making it resistant to grazing bullets, knives, abrasions, or scars. Jai modified it to resist intense cold as well, Jai's suit was also designed using vulcanized Teflon which neutralizes any electron imbalances and prevents the friction of his movements from generating a lethal dose of static charge. The Emblem of the suit contains several sub-suits that Jai can use in various situations. His suit greatly resembles his grandfathers, and fathers, with slight differences. He does this to signify that no matter what happens he WILL become Flash Lightning...and he WILL be the fastest man alive.

||Characteristics ||

Jai has the well built physique of someone with super speed would usually have, despite not having his powers until he was 16 Jai was extremely active and played several sports. His hair is Auborn,His eyes are naturally yellow-ish brown

|| Intellect ||

Jai is exceptionally intelligent for someone 18 years of age, he's very talented in the field of forensic science and investigation. His favorite subjects are History, Math and English. He enjoys learning at a regular pace for humans, preferring to not speed through his education. The only thing he did speed through was his Forensic, Criminal Justice, and Detective studies. He was always a very talented scientist, and he was capable of making his own suit and equipment.

|| The Speed Field- The Speed Force||

|| The Fastest Boy Alive- Super Speed ||

|| The Gifts Of Speed-Sup Abilities ||

|| Jai's Uniform ||

|| The Birth Of A Hero-History ||

Jairus Walker was born on July 7th 2089 to Alexander Walker and Alice Walker, his father was 22 when his son was born and he was extremely estatic to teach his boy about the gifts of the Speed Force, Alex was 5 when his powers manifested...so he waited, for 5 long years. Then a day before his 17th birthday Jairus was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when Alex found out that his only son had ALS he went into a frenzy, even this deep into the future, they still hadn't found a cure, Alex was driven to the point of complete distress, his mother also was terrified, even with all of their powers they couldn't cure this disease.

Not knowing what else to do Alex grabbed his son and shot him into the Speed Force, hoping it would save his life. And it worked...a bit.
