Somewhere deep within the Weeping Woods
The mercurial masked Grayl had not moved from his crouched position for almost an hour. But time had lost all meaning here, it always did, it always had. Each time Jacob came to visit the sleeping beauty as she majestically slumbered atop her bed of roses, he found the silent tranquility that continued to escape his otherwise unforgiving life. The macabre scene was his own exclusive self-meditative catharsis. His ancestors had authored a similar tale but for the sake of the common folk the story's ending had been dramatically uplifted for easier digestion.
However the Brother's Grimm had meticulously documented a darker tale, a....truer; tale, with a hauntingly more depressing ending. Letting out a deep sigh, the mute Hunter of Horrors glanced down at a unique piece of bronzed engineering strapped to his wrist and forearm, held in place by a piece of treated leather. The exposed sprockets and turning gears were a visual wonderment to be hold by the casual observer, for the Hunter however it was an instrumental resource in his campaign to eradicated the evils that plagued men and women's very souls. It was time for Jacob to leave.
He wished he could stay yet the code of the Grayl demanded he uncover the cause of a recent and peculiar death. Placing his hand on the side of the resting maiden's bed like sarcophagus he caused a small compartment to unfold slowly, revealing a small rack of customized facial masks. With ritualistic precision the sui generis of the Grayl family carefully made his selection, and took his leave.
Sometime later:
He had arrived well ahead of the Queen's royal elite, her personal monster hunters. Skilled, but Jacob detested their obedient sub-servitude and half-measures. Capturing the nightmares was a fools errand. Only the complete and unmitigated eradication of the entire culture of dark supernatural entities could be tolerated. Still, in the end, they were fighting on the same side in the same war.From perched high above the artistic flesh puzzle was easily readable, though its author remained a discouraging mystery. Jacob's cloak gently fluttered behind his gymnastically tailored crouch while quietly observing the scene.
With a suspiciously supernatural sight beyond sight he could mentally replay the tortuous events. Yet the creature's identity continued to allude his powerful skills of esoteric deduction. But the creature's time was rapidly coming to a close. The Brothers Grayl would not tolerate such gruesome acts of evil defilement. A message had been sent. A message would be answered.
Even though Sub Zero has some cool moves I totally agree. I'd rather they give us Lex Luthor. But the badass agent looking one (and one of the skins could be his bulky kryptonite suit
