If I had to create a team from scratch it would have to be Colossus (hitter), Kitty Pryde (thief), Gambit (mastermind), Fence (hacker), and Jean Grey (grifter). It may be a very mainstream team but it gets the job done. Colossus really wouldn't even need his powers... He is still huge without going organic steel.
