Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #5 0

Minor SpoilersAvengers and X-Men: AXIS #5 is definitely my favorite issue of the series so far. It finally moves the plot in a direction that could, y'know, actually be classified as a plot.First of all, it really gives us two characters that we can actually focus on, rather it not having any central character. I quite liked this, since it seems like a pretty big issue with most events is that they don't really have a central character we can witness the event through the eyes of. Except, of co...

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #1 0

This is an event with “X-Men” in the title so of course I was excited for it… even though it’s been like, what, a month since Original Sin finished? (They are cranking these events out way to fast)After reading all of the “March to AXIS" material in Uncanny Avengers and Magneto I was soooooooooooo excited for this event. I loved the idea of Red Skull going all Nazi on Mutants and I thought the issues in Magneto and Uncanny Avengers did it awesomely… however...

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #2 0

I thought this second issue was an improvement over the first, but still is feeling very rushed and over saturated. At least this time around we are a bit more concentrated on certain characters or certain things, rather than being jumping all over the place like last issue. We have some moments I just loved with Havok and Cyclops. We also got some character stuff for Iron Man and it was fun to see him and Magneto bicker.I also enjoyed the action scenes a lot more this time (which is good, beca...

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #4 0

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #3Well… it’s getting better. Once again, we get another issue of pretty much nothing but action, action, and just too much happening. Here we’ve got a whole bunch of Marvel’s bad guys joining forces in order to help defeat the Red Onslaught. We spend more than half the issue watching that bad guys beat up the Red Skull and his Sentinels, with dialogue which honestly sounds like it comes out of a 70s comic (which isn’t necessarily a bad th...

Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #4 0

Minor SpoilersWell here we are. Just about midway through Avengers & X-Men: AXIS and finally on the second chapter titled Inversion. Is the event finally catching up speed and getting better? Short answer, yes. I really did enjoy this issue on the whole far more than I did the past three issues. However, I must say, even if I do enjoy the content we have here, it’s still suffering from the same issues it’s been having all the way through, in my opinion.First of all, the event do...
