Iron Fist Angel

I'm calling it now - Angel doesn't survive this movie.

Angel is my all-time favourite character and I'm sad the Warren I grew up with for the last 30 years is nowhere to be seen. We have this teenage Angel who is basically written as a joke, and the de-aged version who hasn't really been seen in a long time. Oh and you can take it to the bank that this relationship will not last long. Even Hopeless kind if hinted at that in a recent interview.

Not going to lie - I'm a little disappointed. For me personally, Hawkman is one of the coolest-looking characters in the DC universe and this costume doesn't do much for me. Plus the dude looks to be a little small to be playing the role. I was hoping for something like this:

6 vs. 5? More of a skirmish than a war.

Have you seen the Lego Dimensions game? In order to play everything that game has to offer you'd have to shell out around $500.

They really seem to be keeping images of Angel to a minimum. He was completely missing from the E.W. article and we only get a brief glimpse of him in the trailer. I have a feeling he won't be used much and I also think he either won't be making it out alive, or won't be joining the team.

@lone_wolf_and_cub: Being "tied" to a popular franchise doesn't necessarily mean you deserve your own movie. It's not like we're getting a Storm solo flick. Or Iceman. Or Banshee. DC is simply following in Marvel's footsteps with solo movies for key members of the Justice League before releasing a "team" movie. Aquaman has not been a joke in the comics for several years now. It's only certain media outlets which have been hanging on to this tired, old joke.

I actually like Gambit a lot but like others have said, the guy can't even maintain a comic series on his own. I just don't see the point of an entire movie devoted to this one character.

Ugh, Apocalypse looks terrible. Psylocke is bang-on though. And hmmmmm...no mention of Angel at all in the article. That's not good.

Gene is 6'2" and he's normally wearing something with a pretty significant heel, (a good 2" or so), so he generally looks around 6'4" most of the time. No need for platform boots, lol.

Seriously. I just don't see the point of this at all. It must be a budget title.
