@Iron Apollo: Maybe his kids are now old enough for him to not have to be so careful? Or maybe he changed his mind. He's allowed to change his mind about the type of roles he takes. That wouldn't make him a hypocrite.

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert in his roles. But if several years ago he decided not to take certain roles and later changed his mind, that's not hypocrisy. It would be if he was claiming to not take those roles while still portraying them. Is he still making this claim?

If you take another look at that comment I'm not the one who made it. I just "quoted" it and made a response like I am here.
And my response to that quote was like yours things change.

Tomas Jane left the part as Punisher because he wanted to work on projects that were a good influence on his kids. Then he goes and plays as a male prostitute. Now he's saying that he wasn't done with the part?

I did enjoy the Tomas Jane Punisher movie, but it had it's flaws. I liked this little short. Thomas Jane is a great actor even if he is a little bit of a hypocrite.

Yeah, I think sometimes having to pay the bills changes choices and perspectives.
I was always under the impression that he departed from The Punisher franchise, because he disagreed with the producers on the direction they wanted to take the series.
I'm not talking about his reason for leaving the franchise, or not doing another one. I'm talking about the projects he's chosen since. I'm sure hung made him alo of money and if he was able to use this as a springboard to do another punisher film it would defiantly make him alot I money.

I always thought if they could find a middle ground between the 2004 movie and War Zone it'd be just about a perfect Punisher movie

Agreed

I would use my powers to fight the good fight. then find a way home only to bring my family back to mars and establish our home there. this would allow me to write books of our adventures have them published on earth and be the next big thing in books and movies since harry potter.

the new cover with jay "the flash" garrick looks awesome really excited about his story, and the story with Alan isn't a surprise but I'm looking forward to issue three and him becoming a lantern. But I really want to see the other members of the teeam.

@NightFang: lol, agreed, it is a bit imposing, albeit entertaining.
