Warren has been able to hold my attention more. He is obviously the most memorable part of 80s X-Factor. Lobdell did good character work with him in the 90s, and I liked the pairing of him and Psylocke. Then he went all weird in the early 2000s, mainly thanks to Chuck Austin, but then X-Force came along and made him interesting again. I like Madrox, but Angel has had so many more memorable moments throughout the years.
Just noticed that @McKlayn posted at the same time as me, saying the same thing. Only he posted it a little faster than me, making my post seem unoriginal. 😒
It depends. Sometimes a large team works out well, but you need a writer that can handle a large cast of characters. Sometimes you'll only have two or three key characters, with the rest of the team feeling like background characters. I personally prefer larger teams of 7+ members.
