A Vision Of Redemption

Gothic City has always been described as a city of darkness, oppressed by the powerful and the corrupt, but from up there, all Isaiah could see was light and the inner beauty that Gothic hid. Of course he isn't blinded from the turmoils that they faced within the City's boundaries,he was from there after all, but he also saw what it could become. It did have the potential to become greater than that of Key City, perhaps even the seemingly perfect Metro City.

Along with the view, Isaiah came up here for another reason. The sheer height of his apartment building prevented most of the street noise from reaching this far, providing him with a sense of silence. A moment of solitude to practice his violin, a way to chill his nerves. He pulled his phone from his pocket, allowing its light to touch his skin before finding the song he was looking for. This song, recommended to him by his sister, was for reminisce, to remember the events in his life that provided him with joy.

He found it, pressed play, and readied himself to play. The chin rest felt smooth and cool, against his chin as he gently gripped the violin by its chin, getting the feel of the instrument as he waited to join the song with his violin, bow in hand. Then, his part came, a smooth series of chorus emitted from the strings of his violin. While no one was there to hear the sounds of his song, he still played as if he was on stage. Because, in his mind, he was, the entirety of Gothic was his audience, and so he played like it.

He felt the emotion of this instrument, his finger's frailness reminded him that despite him not being the strongest, that he can still make something great, hoping that what he can do with this symphony, is what he can do for Gothic. He began to meld his ideology with his passion for music and created a masterpiece he truly felt proud of. A perfect blend of what he believed and what he loved.

Hours seemed like minutes as he got lost in his music, getting pulled into complex arrangements of notes. A song that once was harmonious turned dark, and Isaiah followed. It represented the true nature of the city and its history. First starting off with, a dream, and the potential to become harmonious, but revealing the dark reality of its poverty stricken borders. The Sun began to set, blanketing the city in darkness. This was, of course, the time for him to strike. The dark melody slowly came to an halt, as he placed his violin in its case and headed back inside, ready to escape the cold air that began to travel through the atmosphere.

While Maria was out, contributing to the mission by capturing truth in the stillness of a single picture, Isaiah had to look for ways in a more secure way to unite Gothic City. Through the distribution of knowledge and finances, though the ladder needs to be dealt with more careful planning. Wh1t3B0x, his main laptop, stared at him with a blank screen, ready to receive further instruction. Isaiah took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the digitization process, and began to convert his very being into a complex series of 1s,2s,3s and 0s.

Now, exposed to him in a blank virtual environment, an array of thousands, no millions, of files with encryption level varying heavily. Now as Interface, he’d begin to prepare his plans. Several surveillance systems were being checked by Interface. Like usual, they only had to show the usual violence and acts of aggression that Isaiah was now used to. He wasn’t looking for that, no, he was looking for the source of the corruption, and a spark of gathering Gothic’s people together. An act to ignite a constructive revolution.
