Oh man, that Superman king piece looks good. But I'm definitely out after the Batman set ends. I may pick up a couple of pawns here and there to stand in for the ones I'm not thrilled about in the Batman set.

That's true. But that was very brief and had the in-story reason of (IIRC) wanting to disassociate from the actual X-Men while being on Osborn's team. @ApatheticAvenger said:

Whoa, I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Seeing Mags without his giant tuft of white hair feels very weird.
I really like Chris Bachalo's art. I'll definitely be giving this book a try, either in single issues or when it gets collected into a trade.
As for Emma's costume, a switch to black seems like a major move for someone who went by the title White Queen for most of her career. I hope Bendis gives us an in-story explanation behind the switch.
Today, I was thinking about Cap' Marvel. It would be pretty wicked if Marvel killed or at least beat up Superman. Assuming that the Kryptonian is still powerless against magic, Marvel should be able to kill the crap out of him (because his powers are all magic-based).
I know the chances of this ever happening are pretty low (given both of their character traits).
But, has this or something like it ever happened? Could it happen?
