Matt Lightle, son of legendary Legion of Superheroes artist Steve Lightle, reported on his father's Facebook page today that his father passed away this morning from cardiac arrest. Besides Legion of Superheroes, Steve Lightle worked on Doom Patrol, Classic X-Men and a host of other comics. May he rest in peace.

@frozen: Horrible staff member? I always thought she was a key part of the podcast, and I liked her news videos and comic reviews. I thought the best episodes of the Comic Vine Podcast were when she and James Robinson bantered with each other. Congrats to Babs aka The Lima Beanie aka Sara Lima! I saw on Instagram today that she just got married in France. She's definitely missed around these parts.

Spider-Man is my favorite superhero of all time and even I can recognize that Spider-Man: The Animated Series doesn't hold a candle to Batman: The Animated Series. Batman: TAS set the bar for all other series.

I think Marvel is just having a little bit of fun, guys. It's okay to have a sense of humor about things without acting like the sky is falling.

There's a Flash cover from the 1970s (I think, maybe early 80s) that had him running, and then one of the Rouges zapped him with a ray and he withered to a skeleton as he ran. That cover freaked me out when I was a kid, but I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know which issue I'm talking about?

Does anyone here play Contest of Champions on a regular basis? I'd like to join an Alliance of daily players. Maybe we can start a Comic Vine alliance?
