Punisher seemed pretty angry in Year One. Maybe the MCU version will become more cold and calculated as time passes, like his comic counterpart.

I dont think it was better than the original Rami films. I'd rank them like:

1. Spider-Man 2
2. Spider-Man
3. Spider-Man Homecoming
4. The Amazing Spider-Man
5. Spider-Man 3

I still havent seen TAS2.
