The most durable materials on earth are vibranium and adamantium.

Hyperion smokes him. Lex is able to fight superman to an extent by massively exploiting his weaknesses.

To the best of my knowledge Hyperion doesn't have the same weaknesses so luthor's most powerful weapons are useless.

This is essentially ironman vs Hyperion and Hyperion kicks his ass.
