Nyah Nyah, Can't Catch Me! (A Compilation of Speedsters)

This is a list of the speedsters of the DCU/Vertigo/Wildstorm [and following the update all the other comic] universe. Hopefully it will be of some use to someone. I will also try to include their current state (Deceased, active, retired, or in limbo)

I'm going to try to limit this list to runners, or those who demonstrate super speed as a primary power just because it becomes difficult to draw the line otherwise. [For example, would Superman count? Deathstroke? Just don't want to go there.]

If you noticed any I missed please let me know!

[Thanks to Those Who Ride the Lightning zeraphyne, apis, and wurl124 for providing information on some of the more obscure characters!]

Edit: Now including all companies! Yay! Gonna need some help here, so if I'm missing a character please let me know!

since your list has the term "DCU/Vertigo" Speedsters, I had to come and see who was a speedster in Vertigo...but I couldn't find any and I can't think of any off the top of my head...are there some?

@aztek the lost: Not that I know of, no. Probably someone in Doom Patrol or Animal Man or something that I've forgotten about.

@Icarusflies: I like them both, but Wally is the one I grew up with.

Cool!

Fastbak!

You know, I don`t think that Black racer is a villain. More like a really mean death.

@kfhrfdu_89_76k: Yeah, I should probably change that...

Dervish has been a member of the Outsiders and a villain of them as well. She was a villain in the last issue she was in, IIRC. She is a character of Arabic decent.

@Strafe Prower: Thanks! :)

I'll go add some of that info to her entry.

@Icarusflies: Anytime!

Also, She hasn't been in the DCnU yet, so only the Pre-Flashpoint info applies.

@Strafe Prower: I know, I added a disclaimer in the opening of this list saying that most of this was Pre-52...which to me also counts as pre-Flashpoint since I'm trying to ignore all that. >_>

@Icarusflies: Cool, didn't see that! I might actually work on wiki page since it is non-existent.

Let's face it, no one reads the opening list bits...so no worries. :P

And that would be great, I somewhat doubt there's any information for her anywhere as of yet. :(

@Icarusflies: I'll have to re-read those issues that she appears in, but I will get to it eventually. It's not like anyone else is jumping to do it lol.

Hmm Whirlwind from Marvel isn't here, and while his speed comes from spinning it should be appropriate

@impurestcheese: Yeah, spinning counts (I'm pretty sure I have the Top on here), I just haven't updated the list in a long time.

@icarusflies77: Hey hunter does not control the timestream itself, What happened is that hunter turned into a timelime ''timestream'' therefore he can control how fast and slow everything around him, while he can control how fast and slow his body is

He controls his own flow of time
