The very cream of British comics - 2000ad has published on a weekly basis since 1977 and still going strong. The best science fiction/fantasy anthology title going.
Short lived (only 15 issues), but still remembered. Scream defined the british horror comic in the 1980s. Bring it back!
With its bold mix of photo and comic strips, Eagle was a breath of fresh air in the 1980s and lasted well in to the 1990s, bringing back classic characters Dan Dare and the Mekon and introducing the world to Doomlord!
more than just a 2000ad spin-off, The Megazine is still going strong today and has it's own unique identity.
The first issue came out in 1938 and it's still going now!
They only made 68 issues, but it was a lot of fun while it lasted. Bridged the gap between The Beano and Viz.
Although it contained reprints from the American Marvel Star series, there was a lot of original British content too.

Started in 1961 and still going strong today. This war digest series is not for the faint hearted collector - with over 4,000 editions!
Classic sci-fi digest series, 281 perfect issues between 1979 and 1991.
It was to merge with 2000ad after only 22 issues, but it featured the debut of such classic characters as Strontium Dog Johnny Alpha and Robusters.
