I have seen so many great arguments for both sides. But personally I can't look past the sheer raw power of the Avengers. I really don't think weather wizard can solo in any way by making a tidal wave, he will need time which he most likely won't have and even if he did I'm pretty sure vision, Tony, Hulk and Thor would all at least survive. either by tanking it or simply flying over it. Reverse Flash to me seems the only real threat along with Grodd. But if Barry along with Firestorm and Arrow can stop him I'm sure The Avengers can beat him. The rest I just see Hulk bulldozing before they can do much, since they have human level durability. Grodd is a tricky one but with prep I'm sure Tony could figure out a way to overcome his telepathy for the whole team, even without prep Barry managed to snap himself out of it so I'm sure one of the team would be able to snap out of it long enough to take him down.
I'm going to go with Darquesse because she was pretty much the most powerful thing to ever walk the earth in the Skulduggery Pleasant universe. Most of the time she did like playing with her "food" more than actually finishing the job, she pretty much could of ended any scenario in the book with a thought, she just chose not to and that ultimately led to her downfall. This all being said I'm not sure what Sauron's most powerful can do, But going off the film and the main LOTR books (not the Similarion) I can't really be a good judge of what he can do and what he is capable of.
@thevivas: Yeah I have to agree Oliver would probably dominate in a close up hand to hand fight. I just think it may come down to whichever girl comes out on top to assist their team mate.
@thevivas: Really because just from the movie feats alone I would say they have pretty comparable accuracy feats. And if anything doesn't Hawkeye have far more powerful arrows, I mean he did put a huge hole in the freaking helicarrier. But I have to agree with the Natasha point due to her having guns. But I think the fight between Oliver and Clint would be much closer and could go either way, just depends on who hits who first.
Battle takes place in an abandoned office building, Lots of cover and areas where stealth tactics can be applied.
Both teams have standard gear
Fight till the death
Oliver has no moral against killing
Shield has found out about these two vigilantes running around the city and send their two best agents to stop them. They end up confronting each other in the place above.
