@hopesummersforthefuture: Well, I think when Alex and Madelyne had their relationship it was influenced by Madelyne's possessed Goblyn Queen persona, seeing as she was still in love with Scott and Alex was still with Lorna, who was also possessed at the time. I mean, they had a platonic relationship but everything after that was not natural. I wouldn't really consider Madelyne an "ex".
The problem with comics, specifically X-men comics, is they take stuff from when the book as really good (80s, 90s) and misinterpret it and write half assed stories and character moments based on it.
I guess that could be right, there was also this line in inferno where maddie said she wanted "brother to kill brother" , maybe it was just more payback towards scott
There was also this from hellions where havok tells maddie "he sick of hearing her talk about his brother and he wished to give her everything his brother couldnt and she was along still in love with his brother........
but then she kisses him LOL from hellions #4

I also like MaddieXAlex.........Alex seems like the only one who still cares about maddie when the others dont ......first he asks xavier about it then magneto

I also like the original Inferno, well, I like that version of Mr Sinister who first becomes prominent during Inferno.
The sad part is only the X-men story arc (which later features X Factor) is good. The New Mutants story should have been a lot better considering Magik.
I was re-reading outback era and i like outback-era maddie before she became a villain.
Also if maddie comes back and tries to be good for a while she should wear the green pilot outfit as a hero outfit
