Doesn't matter. The Bears have a good, young QB. You may have to be from Chicago to fully understand what that means. That you're even asking that question is a good sign. Did you ask who Craig Krenzel had to throw the ball to? Henry Burris? Jonathan Quinn? Of course you didn't! You probably don't even remember them. There have been a lot of Bears teams who have done very well with QB's who shouldn't have even been in the league. Now they have a young stud. If you're right, and he has nobody to throw the ball to, guess what? They still might make the playoffs! They could suck, but next year... they'll have Jay Cutler again! This may seem like nothing to you, but to a Bears fan, it's a new experience.
They've been trying to find a frachise QB since the 40's, to tell you the truth. McMahon was great and won a Super Bowl, but he was barely ever healthy. Now, Instead of 50 years of searching behind them, they have the promise of at least a handful of years of Cutler in front of them. They can stop wasting time on that and build around him.
...and don't count out the receivers. Now that they have someone to throw TO them, they might surprise you. They have the fastest guy on the field for Cutler's cannon, one of the best TE tandems in the league, and Forte catching the ball out of the backfield. We know that much. You can make a pretty good game plan with that. Nobody's saying Cutler has to throw for 4,000 yards. We're still the Bears.
