Doctor Manhattan from watchmen comic vs Nekron from the blackest night.

Place: In an alternate universe with no other lifeforms..

morals off.

Nekron decided that the blue guy is annoying so he wants him dead.

who wins?

I think in fractured future it was revealed that he had his own intentions.

I hope this is the right topic.

What are some examples of villians showing their "light side" in comics.

I'm talking about villians who showed pity, sympathy or did good things WITHOUT any benefits.

I just read about Roy Harper and Killer Croc, I think croc was being a super nice guy.

Also, what are some examples of villians and heros being friends ? I know this happened with flash in DCAU but are there any examples in the comic ?

please share, thanks!

I would think so, when you say something is indestructible I am assuming you are saying the crystal structure of the metal doesn't break- hence no permanent/plastic deformation of the metal.Well turns out you don't need to be "break" the metal for it to vibrate- before Plastic deformation metals can be flexible meaning they can deform temporarily as long as the applied stress is within a certain limit(yield strength). In other word before this limit the metal actually acts like a spring if you apply a force to it - hence it can store mechanical energy (and I believe vibration is mechanical wave in medium).

So I would say if Adamantium is as strong as the comic portray it to be it just have to have a really high yield strength(the limit) if not infinity. Before you reach that limit you can hit it with a hammer to cause vibration of that region of the adamantium where you hit it and it should make sound without permanently deforming it (breaking it).

please correct me if I am wrong.

I would agree with you.

assuming the size of the bullets are the same, if the bullet is heavier that means it is more massive, which is actually not a good idea for bullet since for the same firepower from the gun you have less energy transferred into the heavier bullet than the lighter one for a given impulse.

correct me if I am wrong.

IMO It is possible, the breaking of a metal is the dislocation of the crystal structure due to a shear force that is strong enough, in other word, if adamantium is breakable in the first place(which I'm not sure that it is but let's assume it is) given a force that is big enough, you can break it with an egg, WHAT breaks it should be irrelevant. so if adamantium is breakable in the first place. then yes, adamantium can break adamantium. Can adamantium pierce through another adamantium though I'm not sure if I can answer that.

correct me if I am wrong.

@joshmightbe: I'm not saying he is a God, but what I didn't understand is that if he's so smart why can't he get his hands on magic or advance technology(or gain super power) to beat superman. but then again my question has been answered. He wouldn't be Batman if he did all those stuff.
