Humans, these humans; were a complicated lot. The gods favored them, but they were the most unpredictable lot in the cosmos--these humans. So as she pondered further on his words, she simply had no answer. Which shouldn't have been possible?
"You have to understand this is only the second time in history that we've had to initiate such protocol." She explained moving across the stacks of books again to retrieve Ishara's book.
The cover fresh, it's pages untouched. "Our High Queen has become a character in the story of the Universe. She is forbidden to return to the realm of the gods. As you will soon find out, the power she commands is directly linked to the library. With us gone you will at least have a fighting chance." She leaned on the table with her hands folded in deep thought about her name. "I have many names, my birth name is Sarai, the spiritual name is Juliza. I answer to both. You may call me what you please Achilles."
The Elder of Knowledge extends her hand towards the Royal Throne Room, where Ishara used to reign, from it she removed a book. As she opened the book, its story came to life in the world around them blanketing them at the heart of creation.
"In the beginning, the Gods of Creation and Destruction came together to construct the Multiverse and determined the limits and boundaries for each specific universe within the multiverse. They are composed of both "Good and Evil" aspects that came together to create a Multiverse with perfect balance. To protect the balance across the multiverse, Observers, Watchers, and Seekers--Universal Gods, were birthed to record the history of the Multiverse."
Her eyes cut back to Achillies before displaying an image of the Universal Judges. "The Universal Judges are the immortal children of the gods, they are composed of cosmic energy. They cannot be killed save by each other"
Then it hit her like an idea. "I suppose that's why the Prime Ziccarra took a piece of High Queen Ishara's hair." She said out loud with a finger on her chin.
"The Universal Judges were created to maintain balance within the Universe, but the High King, The King, and the Queen killed themselves trying to obtain absolute power over each other. We refer to this as the WAR of the KINGS. Ishara survived that, but now she has been corrupted. And of course, the wages for acting against the commandment is death. She will die in this universe, by your hand." She said metaphorically.
"Orby theirs" That was more of a grim warning than an option. If the gods got involved that meant he and the rest of the universe failed.
