@dclantern: I'm hoping this time they give him some versatility with his speed.

Incorporate the lightning throw, phasing, wind funnels stuff like that. What are you hoping for to see in Flash's gameplay?

Definitely lightning throwing, that would be awesome. I'm also hoping that they have a gear that will change him into a different speedster (e.g Zoom, Reverse Flash etc.)

does he lightning throw in the comics.
I know Wally does, but does barry? or was that strictly a cw move so far?

@casper4690: Same. Part of me really hopes this gets enough traction to have the twice a month shipping like the other big titles.

@herewegoagain: Well, it doesn't seem to be directly from the New 52 run either, though. If I remember correctly, we never got a real solution to the Paco evil scarab that took over Paco. Plus, as you said, he was supposed to go back home but maybe he didn't. It's a complete tonal shift from the New 52 run that's for sure.

My biggest concern is it is a continuation and they sum up the events on one page, or "briefly" mention it to tie them together, but have no real solution

One example is "Mania" from marvel, flash thompson ended his run saying she was his responsibility and then next thing you know he's in space never talking about her again until now, that's a 3 year gap of her not being mentioned, and that was a HUGE plot point in his life. I find it hard to believe he would leave a half demon half symbiote to her, but the writers didn't think that was important enough to talk.

or wtf was whispered to thor to make him unworthy lol.

or
like that paco thing. but who knows, we will see. Brenda's aunt is alive and well it seems right? I can't remember but that's one way to tell, how her relationship with Brenda is.

@hypnos0929: new 52 jay garrick explained this. I think their bodies regulate themselves. in the speed force version of speed powers if you try to cheat the powers you end up insane though it looks like. your body and mind can't handle it....

in other cases the side effects are being bored easily and add, for whatever reason , it's cliche. Barry and Jay seem to have a handle on it.

@acrokat: He was panicking because of his Flash Fobia, not because of the damage that Bart did to him.

its still impressive that they caused him to bleed without smashing their hands to bits. He shrugged off magic, an army of heroes and smashed through GL constructs like nothing

@revivalmh: Not a fan of the magic aspect. It seems they figured out what to do with Kord, and aged him a bit lol. His last encounter with luthor he looked no older than 16, and now he is a full fledged adult, and then he was running around in the future with booster....he was a confusing character to read lately.

I hope they keep it alien tech but dr fate even corrected Kord when he called it that. He said that's what they want you to think.

It seems that it is not carrying over at all from the post crisis run. Just the way he was acting and what not. What happened to the new 52 version story? last we saw he was in space and then heading home? maybe he made it home and is now hanging out with kord trying to figure out how to remove it?

you take the most iconic bits of the suit then change everything else where you can to make it more more practical and acceptable to more than just niche fans who would even accept a musical of there favorite characters. you know these guys opinions aren't valid when they start accepting this sh*t and musicals.

then a bunch of people say it's not accurate. (which I think was one of your points)

You COULD make it better, but then is it really the same costume? If the source material has a basic boring costume then I won't blame the emulation. Does her staff generate the costume like a GL? or did she make that on her own?

I myself am fine with change, just to be clear, but it is still to call this out when the comic is just as ugly

When was her costume good? Her costume has always been shit. You could make it 100% comic accurate and all she is is a girl in spandex gloves and boots. You give her way too much credit.

you could even give her more mask like her comic counterpart and she still looks like an idiot. How do you fix a character with a shitty costume in general?

@thedarkpaladin: wouldn't that make him a hypocrite seeing that he tried to kill Goku twice during his visit

yes pretty much, but narcissists and the self righteous are often hypocrites
