well Surfer has a lot of powers that I think would make him win the battle. He has 2 powers that could cheese the Blue boy scout in 5 seconds

Energy Absorbtion- He took out all of hulks gamma rays and reverted him back to bruce banner and he could do the same to supermans solar radiation. Supes would eventually get his back cause he would take from the sun again but I think he wouldn't have enough time

Transmutation- This is only if he finds out somehow. He can transmute any object into another. So he can turn an entire building into kryptonite. So for supes sake I hope Lex doesnt whisper kryptonite into his ear.

Now for the longer methods- Surfer has the power cosmic and can demolish most heroes with his energy projection. He can make his body so solid matter passes through it. He is impervious to heat even vs the hottest star. So heat vision would be useless Silver surfer can surpass the speeds of the fastest starships in the entire universe on his board (and you cant simply just detach the surfer from his board unless he wills it (well at least for superman) Surfer also has super strength not saying that supes cant punch harder but surfers punches won't be wuss punches...combining it with passing through matter (surfer wins)

brolly seemed to be able to survive in space and travel to other planets and by the buu saga the super saiyajins are more powerfull then brolly

Buu, Cell, and Freezer can easily roam around in space... But it still doesnt make them better then the saiyajins but i know you know this...just stating a fact

Well here is my first post. I am a nuetral fan but here is my take on things.

Lava Issue:

The thing about Gohan worrying about the Lava. Ok so characters like Silver Surfer laugh at things like Lava....and stars. But they can easily compensate just as Green Lantern would and simply apply a force feild or strengthen themselves. Not all heroes need to be impervious

Telepathy:

Not that it would be "enough" but Vegeta has shown some signs of resisting mind control over Babidi. This is not saying that Babidi is close to good or worse then Charles Xaiver or Spectre would be. But it shows they may not be 100 percent week to it

Here is my take vs some key characters (but this is my just my humble opinion)

VS Superman

Most DBZ character seem to have the majority of the superman's abilites. I think energy projection gives the DBZ characters the edge (especially easily destroying planets) (DBZ wins)

Vs Hulk

Hulk has unlimited strength, maybe it being better then the best of DBZ. But just from what I seen DBZ characters hit at a high rate and may get in over a dozen punches before hulk throws one and then his punch could be dodged ive seen Hulk hit hart but not at constant superspeed (DBZ wins)

Vs Xaiver

If the Goku instant transmission fast enough to kill xaiver before he turns goku into a vegetable then ok but I doubt Goku will think in those terms.. too late. Vegeta's pride might buy him nano second he needs to blast Xaivier out of his wheel chair but I seriously doubt he can Xaiver is as tough as they come on mental manipulation. (Xaiver wins)

Vs Dr Strange

This is a tough one. I can see at first Strange toying with them sending them to other dimesnions. But Goku can teleport to the afterlife and then I a can probably guess that another dimesnsion isnt too far of a stretch..but Strange is trickey.

Vs Cosmic

Well I would really like to see Goku or Vegeta Square off against the Surfer. But mostly all the Cosmic godlike entities have DBZ's number. Lord Chaos, The Beyonder, Death...and Etc. If you throw in Thanos with the Gaunlet or Hotu into it then he would just crush the whole list of every universe. I dont care how much of a comic or anime fanboy you are you have to admit to have the ability to control everything, be aware of everyone, thought, thing in the universe, control time and just blink people out of existance is just unbeatable..thank god Thanos beats himself because he has personality flaws (Cosmic "onipotence" wins)

In terms of creativity

I alwaysed loved DBZ really strong dudes who fight and blow stuff up. But Marvel/DC seemed to diversified there characters abilities much better. This allows for more intereting match-ups. Instead of our powers are almost totaly simular except i can fight slightly better or my power level is stronger. Thats why I am really starting to like Naruto Shippuuden all the Ninja's have very different abilites making the fights more interesting

So there I would put them as contenders vs the lower cosmic scale (silver surfer, stardust, regular Thanos, cosmic spiderman) Well powerwise I just hope the DBZ characters forcefields can protect them from a star at this point if not there best hope is to fight on a planet.
