Namor easily can take on the fantastic 4 by himself both in ultimate and in regular marvel universe and tinman would be no different.. If Tony has any chance he better be more cunning then he ever has before and find a way to keep Namor out of the water for probably more then a day

If your talking about pre crisis superman then I dont think Vegeta could of won but current superman I have my doubts

I do admit pre crisis superman is godly but I never liked him. They made him be able to do rediculous things.

Old school superman had to be better then every other DC character. Oh batman your the worlds greatest detective but I figured it out faster with my super brain.

Ok let me tackle the issue a little. Superman posseses all the strength he needs. But whenever I see him fight it seems he is a little slow. Vegeta seems to be appearing and reapearing all over the place using rapid punches that each can send mostly anyone flying.

I mean I know a good deal of info on supes but I am not a die hard superman fan (I just think hes cool). But I am going by what I've seen and read.

I've seen vegeta punch and easily blow up planets without so much as a sweat. Vegeta punches harder the just about all the villians from his comics. I mean the only ones you can really throw into the Supermans arena and trade punches with him are Darkseid and Doomsday.

Which I wish they would of used those villians a lot more in the series

When you also think about it by the time vegeta comes to earth they have superman like defenses. Goku when he was little was shot with a gun and alls he did was have a red mark and said ouch that hurts

when he fought vegeta I would say it probably bounces off of him like it would superman

and I really hate using powerlevels but to give you an idea how much stronger he got when was a kid at that point 100 - 9,000 Vegeta 18,000.

So if any superman expert care to educate me on supermans defeneces without using bullets, missles, and bombs in comparisson. I would love to learn.

I mean its so hard to compare it though its only guesses that are tried to be made eduacatedly. Like will a Final Flash blow supermans head off, or will it knock him back, or will it just give him a small boo boo. Will supermans punch knock the win out of goku or will it be like when cell punched ssj2 gohan and have no effect at all.

what crossover are you reffering too because when they did the stupid 96 crossover DC vs Marvel it was Thanos in a room and Darkseid steps out of a portal to face him if i remember correctly

You cannot compare the Planet Devourer to Darkseid. With power and knowledge older then the universe.

But if you ask anyone who knows something about comics they will say what I said, Darkseid and Thanos are two parrallel characters from DC and Marvel. Just as DC har Doctor Fate and Marvel has Doctor Strange. Superman and Gladiator. Flash and Quicksilver.

See Darkseid is verypowerfull but unlike galactus he needs armies to conqure anything. Galactus just comes in and devours cores of planets by himself. He used to do it himself but now he uses heralds to find him planets while he is feeding on others to save time. Galactus has the power cosmic and Darkseid is just a very strong superhuman umm alien well you get what i mean.

See both Thanos and Darkseid seek the knowledge to control and rule the universe. Darkseid seeks the "Anti Life Equation" and Thanos seeked the "Infinity Gauntlet" and "Heart of the Universe"

So if he wants his opinion he can give it if he thinks that superman or sh!t even catwoman can beat characters who can blow up planets then I am cool with it

Well alls I ask is that most people who want to comment on who is better do it intelegently and like Kotoro and I and say why this character would win.

See I hope no one takes pitchforks and tourches and bangs on my door for this but I would say when Vegeta first came to earth in the series he could take Superman it would probably be a decent fight with punches exchanged but in the end I think Supes would loose.

Why, becuase he has mostly all of Superman's powers plus a lot more and has better battle experience (he has been trianing since he was a little kid) and he is a tactical genius. Supes is just a corn fed farmboy who charges into every fight without even thinking. It seems from watching and reading both Superman and DBZ, Superman's best speed is when he flies and picks it up but the DBZ characters seem to do that easily plus seem to have better agility. Secondly he has something almost as good as spider sense and that is to sense your power wherever you are. So he also has great battle awareness.

As for the cosmic gods (meaning Galactus, Beyonder, Living Tirbunal, Death, Eternity and etc) The DBZ characters would loose to them.

But for me to say oh DBZ beats Superman becuase Kamehamehas and explosions boom boom or just becuause they can isnt a good reason at all.

yeah he is definetly not galactuses equal. Galactus is onipotent he is a cosmic godlike being. Darkseid is just a dictator of a planet with superhuman powers.

Thanos and Darkseid are actually susposed to be the parralel although I could never see Darkseid beating Thanos.

Simple put Cosmic Fire > Human Tourch Fire

The human tourches fire doesnt do anything to the heralds of galactus

but firelords cosmic fire can harm the other heralds

Well I guess it isnt known what planets were near by at the time. but broly is the one DBZ character who just seems powerfull enough to overcome something like that. But I really dont know to be honest.

As for them witstanding constant nuclear reactions from the sun its simple.

At begining of the Freeza battle Goku, Vegeta and Freeza demonstrated the ease of making nuclear type explosions without seeming exerting themselves. They can easily laugh off an atomic explosions. At the end of DBZ when they are soo many more times powerfull and nuclear explosions tickle even less then they did... I am sure they can make a forcefeild for the sun.

Lets even go back to an earlier era when cooler was both mega Kamehameha into the sun and still manage to keep some of himself intact (yes the super computer remade him) but the fact that he was getting the energy blast and the sun at once and still manage to somehow survive is a feat. At the end of DBZ I am sure they can overcome the sun at least if they are concentrating their defenses a little.
