@shebba: I agree with your entire post except for the last sentence. I do not follow your logic as to how that makes him an X-Man. In a very basic/small nutshell, this is how I see it:

X-Men: Fight for the good of all living beings.

Magneto: Fights for the good of mutants.

To my knowledge, Magneto has been an 'X-Man' before, but not for a long period of time. And for a lot of the stories, he is the X-men's villain. I think what the OP means by 'X-men' is the Beasts, Cyclops, Jean Grays of the team.

Im not caught up on any of the current ongoing X-Men series, so I do not know where he currently stands in those books. But in his solo ongoing, he definitely not an X-Man.

@swordmasterd: Unfortunately, only time will tell. I think it would be awesome to see a Revan movie. Or even a Darth Bane movie, even though I don't know if their current target audience would appreciate such a dark movie/trilogy. But Bane is one of my favorite SW stories.

@glarinetta: I was just rambling. I honestly don't know what all he is losing other than the hammer and his name. I've never read any Thor material, but really wanted to until now.

@nerdork: I know that was was previously written as EU was considered non-canon. I just was not sure if they were going to go back to re-visit that era with some new material to make it canon again? I have not heard anything either way, which makes me think you are correct on them stopping EU as a whole, and that is a shame IMO.

I know that there are a couple of books coming out in the near future that will be considered "canon". To my knowledge, all of these books take place during/within a few years of the original saga.

Does anyone know if they are working on canon for the "EU". More specifically material that took place millennial before the original saga?

I was about to pick up the Thor: GoT. I think I will stay away from Thor all together now. I love female super heroes, but why change the gender one of the most iconic super heroes in all of comics? Thor loses his hammer, fine, Thor loses his powers, fine. Female is worthy of his hammer, fine, but don't call her Thor. Just keep Thor as Thor.

@wolfrazer The fuel limit is what I was looking for anyway. And I just cant see Boba killing Chief before he runs out of fuel, even if he does use his bursts sparingly.

@wolfrazer@i_like_swords Here is an exerpt from Wookiepedia

"The jetpack included a targeting computer, flight gyros, and a missile. The Z-6's fuel tank held enough fuel for one minute of continuous operation (20 three-second blasts). Each three second blast moved the wearer up to 100 meters horizontally or 70 meters vertically. A user of standard height and weight could reach a top speed of 145 kilometers per hour with a maximum range of two kilometers"

I know its wiki, only source i could find in a quick manner. But it seems to be valid since @wolfrazer listed it from the New Essential Guide to Weapons and Tech.

In continuous flight, I believe MC would have no problem surviving for 1 minute. However, Boba could still give Chief some problems if he used his bursts sparingly and wisely. Especially when Chief is closing in. But if/when he uses those 20 bursts, I think the advantage moves to Chief in a major way.
