• HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Ok who is writing Thor so badly both in avengers and in his own book. on the Thor board

Aaron has taken inspiration from Bendis. Tear down characters.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic A question "Who is stronger, Thor and Hulk" is officially a history. on the Thor board

Thor has been a shell of his former self for some years. Not surprised. This is the remnants of Bendis' legacy. Strip away much of what makes a character unique so that all characters feel and sou...

@guccibrick: Which makes about zero sense. You can walk through the sun but OMG don't shoot me with a pistol.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Thor (2018) Comic Run Discussion Thread. on the Thor board

This seems more like a Thor comic for children, and has the tone of the "Ragnarok" movie. Looks like ass.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic What has happened to Thor fans. on the Thor board

Still a fan of Thor, but not interested in the way he's currently being written. I'll perhaps buy a Thor comic when he loses the dumb ass golden arm and hammer and there's a new writer at the helm. ...

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic should thor get a new trilogy in the MCU?. on the Gen. Discussion board

I don't think so. Give him a heroic ending in next year's film, and make room for the newer characters like Panther, Strange and Captain Marvel.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Thor (2018) Comic Run Discussion Thread. on the Thor board

I still don't get so-called "hate-buying." I love Thor and Asgard but if I will a writer is doing poorly with their portrayal I refuse to spend my money to read something that I wont enjoy.

@duriel: When plot becomes more important than character to suit a writer's needs.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Thor (2018) Comic Run Discussion Thread. on the Thor board

The preview pages looked horrible and from what I gathered in spoiler threads the story and characterization are laughable. I'll pass until Thor gets a new writer and perhaps a much needed retcon.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Do you think IW was a step backwards for Thor?. on the Thor board

Thor's being set up for the ultimate sacrifice in next year's sequel. Ragnarok and IW essentially retconned Asgard out of existence. The house of Odin is dead save for Thor.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Do you think IW was a step backwards for Thor?. on the Thor board

I think because we never saw Thanos actually storm the ship and attack Thor in a fight, we don't know how Thor initially was beaten. It could've been a team effort by the Black Order along with Than...

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic What would you like to see in Avengers 4 for the Mighty Thor?. on the Thor board

I think it's clear he's essentially on a suicide mission. Since Ragnarok, Marvel has essentially retconned Asgard out of the MCU, so give him a hero's death. It would be cool if he got a few minute...

Can't we all just agree that it was ridiculously strong?

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic How happy are you about Thor in IW (SPOILERS). on the Thor board

But, BTW, there's no such thing as "Odin Force" or "Thor Force" in the MCU. It was never mentioned anywhere. I don't get why comic fans on forums refer to it as such.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic MCU Stormbreaker - Infinity War Spoilers. on the Thor board

It's essentially comic-book Mjolnir. Channels his elemental powers along with being able to travel through realms and control the bifrost.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Current MCU Thor is Planet/Star Level [Spoilers From Infinity War]. on the Thor board

Most underrated aspect of him is being able to survive in space.

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic How happy are you about Thor in IW (SPOILERS). on the Thor board

He was a beast. Most underrated feat was just basically being able to survive in the vacuum of space. Besides the whole lightning thing, this made him look like a god among men. Twirling the space ...

  • HaveAtThee posted a message in the forum topic Is Thor more powerful than every Avengers members combined?. on the Thor board

Dr. Strange is probably nearly as powerful, so no.I think he (Thor) was drawn like a buffoon in that picture, though.
