  1. Rose Tyler

  My favorite companion ever. Personally, I think Rose connected the best with the Doctor, she seems like she was meant for the Doctor. She has a sense of adventure about of it, and you can really tell that she would do anything to be with the Doctor. She always wanted to know what was going on, but she was never pushy about it. She's sweet, fun-loving, adventurous, she's what made me fall in love with Dr. Who.

  2. Mickey Smith

  I always liked Mickey because he was always overlooked. He helped in so many missions, and was still pushed to the side. He wanted to fit in, but he always felt like a third weel. He still remained slightly close to Rose after they left each other, but I felt his marriage to Martha was a bit sudden.

  3. Rory Williams

  Rory is another case of the third wheel boyfriend. Rory was almost more taken aback by his girlfriends adventures with the Doctor than Mickey was. All Mickey wanted to do was settle down, and get married, but now he's off traveling in time and space. And, you know what, I always felt bad for Rory, because you could tell Amy wanted to be with the Doctor.

  4. Donna Noble

  Donna was a great companion because, as much as I loved Rose, Donna was the first companion to not want anything to do with the Doctor. Sure, everyone is a bit scared when they see him, but Donna was furious. She was also the first companion to not have a crush on the Doctor. She was the best friend, and was always there for him. They were best friends, and I was crying at her season's end.
