Something that would really be cool would be Greg Capullo Variants.... Bump this if you agree. Get the word out to DC Publishing!

I was expecting to see at least one picture of the baton wielding Stormtrooper that beat up Finn.

@ravenkingxxx: I hope that they give Detective Comics to Jim, and they transfer him back to Chicago. It can be a really cool story especially with Jim being from there. They could give Jim some good detective stories there too.

I hope they let Jim keep Detective Comics too, I've been really enjoying his run as Batman.

Superheavy ends at issue 50, meaning we still have 3 more issues. Damian was away during Endgame undoing the Year of Blood by the time he came back Endgame had barely finished. Bruce sees a giant bat because it made for a badass scene. And Lincoln March was sealed away by the Court of Owls at the end of the first Eternal.

It's not just Damian,Snyder has blatantly ignored the actual Bat family and forced this modern day Tim lite Duke on us,by all accounts it should be Dick(or any other Robin) reminding Bruce who he was not Duke. Besides what's he even trying to remind him of? Bruce has no memories, the giant bat makes no sense at all and Duke just knows Bruce's secret? how? but then this character knew the exact location of the Bloom seed at the Fox centre and the exact location of Penguin's office,he obviously has some radar sense we're yet to be told of. If someone else wrote a comic with a badass scene that makes no sense on it's own(why would he see a Bat instead of a train?) and contradicts what has been established for the heck of it I'm certain their comic wouldn't be getting 5 stars.

Lincoln March was another blunder on part of Snyder, him being put away by the COO in another comic entirely clearly proves that.

THANK YOU!

I have been saying that for years.

I read Grayson 15 and Duke was pretty unlike-able there too. It reminded me of New 52 Tim Drake. Boring Gary Stu, just because. Harper was another character people didn't care for, if I remember correctly, and another Snyder pet.

Then again, I have vast problems with Snyder's writing and his pets are the least of them.

Duke has been around since the Zero Year and his role in Endgame was a pretty big one as well. Dick and the other Robins have known how stressful the mission was on Bruce, finally seeing him free from all that pressure they decided that he's better off without it. Duke never knew Batman like they did and was pissed enough to force him to see it himself. And Duke knows Bruce was Batman because he deduced it over the years of knowing him. If I'm not mistaken he was eavesdropping on Gordon and Bruce when they talked about Bloom. And Penguin's "layer" isn't a concealed secrete. Everyone knows where it is.

Why do Snyder and Capullo insist on giving interviews to over-explain the complexity of their latest issue? Isn't it kind of sad that this Superheavy arc has one issue left and really don't know much more about Mr. Bloom than what we learned from the first issue in this arc? Does it make sense for Damian to have zero interaction with Bruce Wayne now that the media and most people in Gotham know he's still around? Why would Bruce see a giant bat when looking into the headlight(s) of an oncoming train? Don't you think Lincoln March would've come out of the woodworks by now to scr#w with Bruce the amnesiac? These are questions that Snyder and Capullo probably will never answer.

I read Ninjak and Monstress and thought there was no way any other issue would top it, even Batman. I was wrong. This was by far my pick of the week. Brilliant work. Snyder and Capullo may go down as my favorite Batman creative team of all time once it is all said and done. Even though I was a little less hot on the JimBats arc coming into this issue, I am fully invested now.

So you'd recommend Monstress? I've been curious about it but I'm not sure if it's worth the money.
