@guardiansofthegalaxymarvelfan:
Aye - I couldn't agree anymore on your thoughts on ASM1 - the fresh characterisation was brilliant, the grounding was brilliant, the writing was focused... I can never hate ASM1.
ASM2... I rewatched ASM2 yesterday and am considering bumping it from a 6.5/10 to 8/10 or something like that - I just love these ASM movies. Although critically, ASM2 isn't a good film - it's still a fantastic experience, the most emotionally invested comic book film to date, wonderful performances, and that ending was 100 punches to the gut.
If I may - what are your ratings for all Spidey movies?
- TAS
Sure, man.
SM1 - I'd give it a 7.0 (It's something definitely I grew up with my childhood, one of my big first superhero movies), but when I started reading the comics (John Romita's ASM) I never liked the fact they didn't introduce Gwen first as a love interest. But I definitely don't hate the movie, it had a great story (but I'm with you when I say ASM is probably the best adaptation of Spidey).
SM2 - 7.5 (Strongest of all the original trilogy Spidey films)
SM3- (It was ok..but I wouldn't say I was too keen on it lol ) - 6.0
ASM 1 - 8.5 (It was the finally adapted comic book feel in my opinion of Spidey)
ASM 2- 9.2 (While there may be, I agree on the side of the critiques, all in whole there was a lot to give for the movie.)
