The Joker is one of the most unpredictable creatures Batman has to hunt. And while villains like Croc, Penguin, and Two Face follow a fairly scripted plan most of the time (that I know of anyway), the Joker is quite comfortable pulling something out of his ass at the least conveinient opportunity to fry Batman.

That and, for reasons unto himself, instead of going to a plastic surgeon like a normal person, he decide to turn career criminal simply because he fell into a vat of acid. sigh

Ok, Lordraiden, I'll try to clarify. I'm writing a paper for a comic class on the Angels and Demons archetypes as they relate to comics. Failing miserably with the paper, but I thought it was an interesting topic.

Warning: I didn't start this to make a flame-war about people's religious beliefs.

What do you all think about the archetypes in comics, like Nightcrawler, Neil Gaiman's Lucifer in the Sandman, Warren Worthington 3, John Constantine, ect.

Thanks, man. I have Neil Gaiman's bookmarked-he's an awesome author, and I still have that book he wrote, with the murder mystery from an angel's perspective. Sucks that I can't remember the title of that...

Anyone know of any good comic/graphic novel blogs outside of Comicvine.com? I'm taking a graphic novel class, and making my own blog was a requirement of the course.

By the way, mine is "hideinthehouseandread.blogspot.com"

Thanks.

"My Neighbor Totoro" is a movie by Studio Ghibli, same as "Princess Mononoke", "Spirited Away," "Castle in the Sky", and "Howl's Moving Castle" for starters. I went to the Studio Ghibli museum in Mitaka, Japan, a couple years ago. It's awesome, but they don't let you take pictures of anything but the outside of the grounds.

The Totoro movie itself is about two young kids whose mother is in the hospital. They moved to a new house to be closer to it for visiting, and meet the kami (the spirits) of the forest nearby. The Totoro are those spirits. Only the kids can see them.

My favorite anime movie is probably Princess Mononoke. I can't watch it anymore, because I've seen it 10 times, and it's overly familiar to me. I'm waiting to see it again after I forget most of the movie. :) Silly, huh? I do really like the part of "Kiki's Delivery Service" at the end, when Kiki's rescuing Tombo. (stupid name, nice kid.)

I think my favorite -animated- movie (plain artist work) is probably The Lion King. I'm not sure what Nightmare Before Christmas is by art style; it's a really good movie, but I don't like that style so much.

Since WHEN has there been a Batman versus Dracula movie? That's lame sauce.

Ironman in Civil War--manipulative little shit, wasn't he?

And Maes Hughes' death in FMA.

Oh, and how do I add a new issue to the Batman list? I borrowed a copy of the Elseworlds tale "Gotham By Gaslight", and I want to add it while it's still sitting on my desk.

In case anyone wanted to help me reboot it, I posted a new addition to the Comicvine Heroes thread.
