Perhaps it was lost on me 1

This was the first batman TPB I read, and to be honest it bored the hell out of me. I'm going to assume that because it was not so much a reboot of the series as it was a tweaking of the beginning story of Batman that the slight changes were lost on me, but whatever the reason was, it's the only comic to date (apart from Superman: Day Of Doom) that I had massive trouble getting into.  I found the art dated and uninteresting, the lettering was difficult to read, and the story seemed to drag on an...

Interesting take 0

I thoroughly enjoyed Birthright, not just because of the great art or the relatable storyline (a young adult finding out who they really are). No, the part I enjoyed the most was the alien heritage of Kal-El emphasised in such a way that it didn't make him seem more alien, in fact to me it made him seem more the embodiment of the human spirit.  Let me explain.
