You'd think for someone as intelligent, crafty, and omnipotent as God-Doom is, he could do better than rip Thanos' skeleton out. Same with him breaking Cyclops' neck. Physical combat seems so pedestrian when you have all that power. I'd be doing some Inception-level reality warping stuff instead.
Oh. My. God. That is glorious. And Apocalypse looks sick as hell. So pumped for this. Probably my most anticipated film for next year. And we're getting Jean, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler back! Huzzah!
So happy that the X-Men universe is expanding to tv. I'm really curious how Legion will turn out. Lots of potential and they'll have more creative freedom with it being on FX.
I loved it for all the obvious reasons. Great performances from Ritter, Tennant, and I liked that it continued with Daredevil's darker, more mature theme compared to the more jocular films (which are getting a bit tiring for me).
Two things: 13 episodes was too long and the season felt stretched. Luke Cage...I liked his story with Jessica but I'm not seeing how he's going to carry his own show. He seemed like more of a supporting character. Maybe (obviously?) they're saving the best for his own series. Then again, if it follows DD and JJ's formula, the antagonist of Cage's series will end up stealing the show.
