In his civilian form Good Felinus is better known as high school kid Tom Katharnis. He is neither popular nor comfortable....when he takes on his Good Felinus persona however his real personality busts free with the force of an atomic bomb. Good Felinus has grace, style and a sharp whit. He's smooth with the ladies (usually) and has a grab bag of puns (most cat related) ready to whip out at a moment's notice. Good Felinus is a good time to have around and fights with a drama and flair that conceal the skills of someone much more experienced and better trained than some sixteen year old kid should be.
The truth is Tom Katharnis gained his Good Felinus persona and abilities somewhere in Rome at an old forgotten statue people had passed by for centuries. The statue, a forgotten hero of Rome, chose the boy to be the latest in a long line of recipients of its powers and knowledge, imbuing him with dozens of fighting styles, the knowledge to hand forge bladed weapons and a tactical acumen in excess of standard teenage abilities.
Good Felinus (Felix, if you ask his name) has a variety of powers and abilities that are well suited for his role as a hero. These are listed below:
Danger Time: When in danger from attacks that move too fast for his cat like speed and grace, Good Felinus feels time slow down around him. He can react to even the fastest of attacks as if it were occurring at much slower speeds. In practicality he can dodge bullets and both perceive and react to people moving at excessive speeds. None of this kicks in until he is in direct line of attack however.
Cat's Grace: Tom's grace is magnified a thousand times. If falling from heights he will always land safely, he can leap long distances and significant heights and land neatly on his feet. He's also a great dancer and a flexible acrobat.
Sharp Claws: Felix can extend sharp cat like claws from his finger tips.
Sharp Teeth: Felix has fangs, they hurt.
Heroic Imagination: The greatest of his powers...if Felix can imagine something with great enough force of will, he can make it happen. In this way he often imagines himself as being much stronger and more durable than he really is. As a result he can often strike up to one ton and endure blows of several tons without suffering severe injury or loss of life. In his secret forge Good Felinus often crafts weapons for the specific purpose of being able to imagine them later so he's not weighed down by carrying a lot of gadgets. The more in danger others become, the stronger and more active his imagination gets.
What Tom can't imagine is a new set of powers. He can have super strength because he is already strong, he can have super durability because it is already enhanced, he can make weapons because of his skill at a forge (he cannot make guns, he doesn't know how to), he can run fast because he is already fast. He cannot fly (though he can leap tall buildings in a single bound), teleport or other fancy powers and abilities that are not already based on his natural traits and the abilities of cat, or his own skills gifted to him by the Roman Hero.
