So apparently Nintendo is having a poll on which character YOU would want to add into the super smash bros. Franchise.

I choose Kid Goku. He is a martial arts master, so his melee attacks should be fun to use. He has the Kamehameha attack, which could be used as his main attack, it would be 

just like samus' main attack. He also has a Power Pole, which would be a very interesting 

Weapon to use in the game since it can extend.

Also, his extra jump move (up b) would be the flying nimbus cloud....

So which character would you like to add to the franchise?

yes it is a little "corny", but that's due to the acting....

And Like I said earlier, the budget was bare minimum. The actors they used aren't actors... a good budget will take away the "corniness" part about it. They will be able to pay people who can actually act. This pilot episode is just to show people it can be done. The fighting scene in it was dope.

@god_spawn: have you seen the pilot epsiode yet? They only had a budget of about $7,000 or so...do you still think there should not be a dbz live action film?

Imagine if it their budget was in the millions like ALL good CGI movies.....

A dbz live action film can be done. It just needs the correct writer/director, and budget.

I think the best way to do it would make it an HBO series or Netflix series. That way, they are not skipping a lot of important scenarios....

@mysticmedivh: yes, fan made sort of. It is being done by a company called robot underdog. The 3 epsiode web series is going to be an interpretation of history of trunks.

Of course the CGI isn't going to be perfect, they have a VERY small budget. Its not like they have millions like avatar did.... This film is made to encourage people that dbz live action movies can be done. The episode that is coming out is dope, just wait and see.

People who think live action dbz movies can't be done, don't know what they are talking about. They base it off of evolution, and evolution was directed by a person who never watched dragonball.. If movies like avatar, guardians of the galaxy, and x men can be done, so can dbz..

I donated money during the campaign so I was able to see the "rough" pilot epsiode today. It was great!

For a low budget film, it is amazing.

I think robot underdog is going to turn around the point of views on dbz live action movies....

This one already puts evolution to shame....

But since when was vegeta's brother considered canon? I have not heard that yet.

I thought that the only movies considered to be canon are battle of gods, and kind of "bardock: the father of goku".

And what about the part when gohan turned super saiyan? Can you explain. I thought he was not able to turn super saiyan anymore after becoming mystic gohan...even when he went to fight beerus, he was in his normal powered up state while everyone else turned super saiyan. Yet he only decides to do it in the circle?

My review,

1.) I personally didn't like the graphics too much. They were decent, but I'm just so use to the old style that this 3dish style looks strange to me. Maybe if they clean it up a little more I will start to enjoy it.

2.) It was the funniest dragonball movie to date, no doubt. I have not laughed that much ever while watching dragonball, dbz, or gt.

3.) It was too short. It felt rushed to me...

4.) Gohan went super saiyan when giving his power to goku for the god transformation. In the buu saga, the old supreme kai explained that gohan won't be able to transform into a super saiyan because of his unlocked hidden power. Can someone explain this clearly, or did Toriyama screw up again?

5.) They changed bulma's voice into an iratating tone..

6.) Uub was not even part of the film.... he was suppose to be training with goku after the buu saga and was suppose to have the same power as kid buu...yet he was not even mentioned in this movie. Very disappointed in that.

7.) It looks like they are adopting GT into dbz by introducing videl being pregnant....cough cough "pan" cough cough....

8.) They also brought up that Vegeta does in fact have a younger brother who was only mentioned in a short film called, yo! Son goku and friends return.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie a lot, even with the few mistakes. The movie felt like an introduction to a new series to me. It has left me hanging wanting more and more and more. Which is what we are about to get for the next 24 years...it also appears to me that toriyama is slowly adopting non canon information into the canon storyline....
