@SHORYUKEN: I do have a dictionary and the definition of killer is "a person or thing that kills" along with a few other unnecessary slang uses. In law the term murder is used for the killing of another human being under conditions covered by law w/ a few other specific situational descriptors. So yes there is in fact a moral high ground within the definitions. Also the entire point of the Trevor Martin case is that many people decided that the killing that was pronounced Just under the "Stand Your Ground" may not have actually been Just. So it really has no part in this discussion.
Also Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors are heroes in my opinion because they fight the battles that 90% of Americans are not willing to or are not fit enough to fight. Giving an oath to literally lay down their lives to get a star spangled piece of cloth to the top of a barren island, give up their lives, friends, family, children for months at a time, and to fire that rifle or press that button so no one else has to take the blame. All so that we can continue living life that allows us to sit on our 500 dollar electronics serving our 1500 calorie meals and anonymously bash and troll people because it is funny. Yes those men and women are heroes, maybe not to all other countries or to 90% of the internet but they are.
Anyways, back to the discussion. It doesn't bother me if heroes kill because I am under the banner that after so many killing Batman becomes responsible for the Joker's killing because he never stopped it.
