-Toriko is ridiculous strong and has already been proven to give Acacia at least a good match, along with that when Acacia just powers up the entire planet quakes. However Superman's plethora of hax and abilities completely ignores this and makes Toriko look like nothing at all, just a worm to him, all he has to do is keep his distance from Toriko and not get touched at all. Even if Toriko somehow manage to tag Superman, Superman still overwhelms by having superior physical strength. Gourmet Cells =/= Magic, so Detective Comics's pis, cic, etc. logic of using magic to weaken Superman to make him lose a fight wouldn't apply in this fight. In fact, this logic is completely opposite since Toriko won't be able to hurt Superman due to Kryptonian's bio aura providing invulnerability.
-Superman is many times faster than light speed, and I cannot say the same for any Toriko characters, the thing is that Detective Comics characters have always had a better combat/reaction speed than Toriko verse, Toriko can only travel/fly fast, but in a fight, this speed is absent, since Toriko can't fight his opponents at the speed of light. In addition to this, Superman can easily keep up with a Speedster in a fight along with the rest of the Flash Family, and will be able to catch Toriko no matter how far away or fast he is moving. Any indication of Toriko characters fighting for 1 hour screen time or more in according to them in a minute or less, etc. is just them exaggerating on their timing or simply outliers.
-You may make an argument that "Superman would die from a planet explosion because he got knocked out from destroying a moon, Toriko can survive one with no big deal!" unfortunately Toriko can't breathe in space, him blowing up a planet would only make him suffocate and die, beside it's against his character to recklessly kill innocent people by doing that. Fun thing is, no Toriko characters was ever shown surviving a planet destruction on-panel to be frankly and Superman knocking himself out from destroy a moon is just one of his low end feats due to not being used to using Infinite Mass Punch.
-You may make another argument by saying "Superman would be vaporized just from Toriko landing a single universal level blow from him!" again, for Toriko do that, he has to be able to touch his opponent, which he can't since he is very slow at fighting his opponents, and Superman could easily evade Toriko's advance and tire him out in order for Toriko to lower down his guard for an opening attack. Again, Toriko has never even shown destroying a planet let alone a universe on-panel so for Toriko to have universal level striking is just plain stupid and ridiculous.
-It should be noted that while Toriko characters were implied and stated to be able to blow up planets, stars, solar systems, galaxies, universes, etc., we never once saw them do it or have any single feats to back it up, they might be able to do it with their gourmet cells blast/gourmet cell shock waves, gourmet cells based related techniques, etc. but it's still too far of a stretch to accept it to be consistent since it barely happens rarely. Any examples you find a Toriko characters doing this physically is an outlier. Also Toriko characters takes a long time just to finish charging a powerful technique, giving Superman opportunity to kill Toriko a thousand times over.
-Another argument can be made is that Toriko is martial artist, he could come up with many ideas in order to think of a way to beat Superman, but Superman would always be one step ahead of Toriko due to better martial arts skills and knows how to apply them well. If Toriko tries to hax his soul to death with Devil Sense or mess up his reality with Ultimate Routine, etc., Superman would always know this, and I believe there is not a single hax Toriko has that can beat Superman's own hax. Superman can also energy drain Toriko by physically touching him/stealing Toriko's appetite energy to make this a win in his favor.
