Yeah I think they established Tony as the smartest for sure now.

Thanks, I will make some updates after the comments

@goddamnironman: Awesome list, the only thing that I saw that I don’t agree with is using the feat of Tony creating an element in the first one. That’s more of a chemistry feat.

It's hard to define where the boundaries are between Chemistry and Physics really, there are a lot of overlaps for sure. But the way Tony creates the new element seems appropriate for me to place it as a feat of Physics.

Where's Ebony Maw?

Not sure him reverse-engineer the Pym tech considered an Engineering feats or Physics or chemistry feats. Pretty unreasonable if I started placing him on all 3 categories based on one off-screen implied feat.

Not a bad list at all, honestly.

Why is Thanos only in Strategy? Because he should be S+ in all..

Hard to pinpoint where does his role begins and end. He definitely has tons of help, but one thing for sure is he is a cosmic mastermind able to pull off intergalactic conquest.

Hank Pym's science defies all laws of physics as we know them. He's basically a wizard with what we see him do with his shrinking and growing technology. He should be higher than A rank in physics.

Think about what we've seen him do. He can create near infinite energy by growing a Duracell battery, create mass from nothing since objects he grows seem to have far greater density than they would if they retained the same mass, destroy mass since he can apparently shrink a tank down and reduce its mass enough that he can casually carry it on a key chain, etc.

That is discounting his ability to traverse the quantum realm.

They describe his technology as "closing the space between atoms" but really he is basically a reality warper.

Here's the thing, Hank didn't seem to get any further out of his tech other than growing and shrinking, he got help cracking the quantum realm equation, and it's Tony and Banner that took it further into time travel territory in fraction of the time after meeting Scott.

@goddamnironman: Shuri didn't invent most of Wakanda's tech lmao. It was thriving long before she was born are you stupid lmao? The only stated thing she did was create magnetic levitation train and now is the leader of Wakanda's design group. They had cloaking and hover craft since a looong time.

Well, I am definitely stupid compared to those geniuses. Yes, no one says she invent all Wakanda techs, but she has got to be the smartest one within the highest average IQ nation in the world to be their chief of science right? Can you definitely say that Einstein is smarter than Newton? We're all standing on the shoulder of giants, the fact that she is mentioned to be the smartest in MCU by officials from Marvel and after taking into account all feats, her ranking makes sense.

MCU Intelligence hierarchy :

At the top level of any fields, as we all know, the gap between each tier is HUGE! So I divided it into different category:

  • S+ tier (cosmic level, transcendence)
  • S tier (Super-genius level)
  • A tier (Genius level)
  • B tier (Expert level)

1) Physics (theoretical/Experimental)

S Tier

  1. Tony Stark (Time Travel, created new element)
  2. Shuri (according to official statements from Marvel)
  3. Bruce Banner (tons of off screen feats, close second to Shuri due to insufficient on screen feat)

A Tier

  1. Hank Pym (Pym particles, entire SHIELD with tons of brilliant minds couldn't replicate it)
  2. Rocket (lack of on screen feats compared to others in this cat, but he probably knows more than Tony)
  3. Erik Selvig/Arnim Zola (lack of feats, but each one of them has standout achievement)

B Tier

  1. Howard Stark (None standout feats, mostly commercial application, more of a businessman)

2) Engineering

S Tier

  1. Tony Stark (this is his domain, unparalleled, basically leave everyone else in dust)
  2. Shuri (She is the Chief of Science in Wakanda for years, invented most of their tech)
  3. Bruce Banner (help Tony creating Hulk-buster, Vision and time travel platform)

A Tier

  1. Rocket (lack of on screen feats compared to other, more of a mechanics)
  2. Ivan Vanko (successfully replicating Arc Reactor, reversed engineered Tony's suits and made it unmanned)

B Tier

  1. Howard Stark (None standout feats, mostly commercial application, more of a businessman)

3) Biology/Chemistry

S Tier

  1. Bruce Banner (tons of on & off-screen feats, even Tony acknowledges Bruce is the best in the world)
  2. Hank Pym (Pym particles, entire SHIELD with tons of brilliant minds couldn't replicate it)

A Tier

  1. Abraham Erskine (Presumably he's the only one successfully created the SSS, and off-screen Bruce failed, hence becoming Hulk)
  2. Peter Parker (created the web fluid and he's only a teenager! he will only get smarter)

B Tier

  1. Tony Stark/Shuri (lack of feats, but they shouldn't be too far below)

4) Computer Science/IT

S+ Tier

  1. Vision (conceived by the Mind Stone and Ultron, able to overpower and shut down Ultron instantly)
  2. Ultron (created with the Mind Stone by the Science bros, 2nd only to Vision)

S Tier

  1. Tony Stark (again, unparalleled on screen feats, created JARVIS, he's running circles around every Earthlings)
  2. Shuri (tons of off-screen feats, she is the Chief of Science in Wakanda for years, invented most of their tech)

A Tier

  1. Rocket (lack of on screen feats compared to Tony, but still tons more than Banner in this category)
  2. Bruce Banner (make sense he should behind only Tony and Shuri, off screen feats)
  3. Peter Parker (Hacked Tony's Spidey suits while using only normal computer)
  4. Black Widow (Out-smart Ivan Vanko, took over War Machine, hack into Arnim Zola's network)

B Tier

  1. Ivan Vanko (effortlessly hack into HAMMER's suits)

5) Strategy/Tactical/Planning

S+ Tier

  1. Thanos (You don't became the most feared guy in the Universe without superhuman strats and planning)

S Tier

  1. Loki (Master of mischief indeed. Tricked everyone that he was dead and dethroned Odin)
  2. Dr.Strange (Clairevoyant with the help of Time stone)
  3. Nick Fury (the finest spy on Earth, running circles around everyone else including Tony, his secret has secrets!)

A Tier

  1. Tony Stark (deduced Loki's plan during 2012, Titan attack plan etc)
  2. Captain America/Peter Quill (both uses tactical approach more, but both are excellent commander)
  3. Rocket (serves as 2nd in command after Quil, he has good feats too)

B Tier

  1. Black Widow (She is trained specifically in this category to maximise her efficiency as a spy, good on screen feats as well)
  2. Scott Lang (Planned couple of heists)

Conclusion:

It's very hard trying to rank cosmic characters or characters from other planets among Earthlings, simply because everything is from our perspective, and we're biased. Nano tech maybe the best way to go around creating armors, maybe not so much on the planet where Rocket were from. And in terms of strategy and planning wise, Thanos leaves everyone in dust! the vast network and intricacies to pull off intergalactic conquest surpasses what us Earthlings can imagine.

If Anyone has anything to add/correct, feel free to leave down comment below. Thanks!

When it comes to underrated scenes, it's always those small moments, the interactions between characters, like:

1) Cap in support group, of course he'd be there after Falcon's gone

2) Rocket giving FatThor the pep talks, who would've imagine Rocket as cynical as he is.

3) Tony interactions with his father, trying to tell Howard he has a granddaughter now.

Not sure how to analyze this one, but it's a pretty cool spell feat for Strange.

Wow I forgot about it, the Russos really know how to inject cool power displays for Strange, first Infinity War and now this.

Hope Dr.Strange 2 has more stuffs like this, maybe take Dr,Strange off-worlds, into the Dark Dimensions to explore

@goddamnironman: Thor still solo.

DCEU superman weak to magic and slow than lightning so thor one shot by magic stormbreaker.

I see you haven't watch the first Thor and the Dark World. It's has been explained by Thor and Odin that it's not magic, but advanced technology to the point it appears as magic to people in ancient times.

And it's debatable that Krypton was just as advanced as Asgard. So no, an axe wielding mannequin ain't soloing Clark. Adding CM only delay the inevitable, neither of them has the combat speed and reaction feats to hangout with DCEU powerhouses.

To give you a perspective, Wonder Woman whom able to see machine gun bullets in slow mo, became a statue compared to Supes. That's how powerful Supes is.

Show me a scan where Supes has bloody face or wound against non-kryptonite weapons. You can't, because he DIDNT ONCE SUPERFICIALLY HARMED BY NON-KRYPTONITE WEAPONS.

Now show me scenes or scan where Thor got all bloodied and face beaten to a pulp, there are plenty.

Boggles my mind seeing people says Thor or Carol solo. No one is soloing shit, team loses 8/10.

Superman has the best thing in combat situation: SPEED!

No amount of power is gonna compensate the huge speed difference between DCEU and MCU characters. Not to mention Supes is vastly stronger and more durable than any MCU characters portrayed

From a biomechanical standpoint, no way an equal size King Kong (primate) would beat Godzilla (reptile). That much is clear: Who would win? A 400lbs Gorilla or a 400lbs Crocodile who can shootout nukes from its mouth?

It's no contest, Godzilla going to win. Unless they double King Kong's size, and gives him superpower

10/10 for me.

It has almost everything you expect to see and more! Tony and Cap story arc went full circle, one of the most fulfilling finale for both of them. And the 3rd act of the movie is absolutely insane! My jaw dropped to the floor when the portals open and EVERYONE joins them! There's no word to describe what it did to us the audience, we are all shook, tear up and cheer together, it's like watching a football match.

There are really so many memorable moments, it's everything fans could hope for, but below are some of the standouts one

Favorites:

1. Professor Hulk! More specifically the Hulk dab! Never have I imagine I would see it on the big screen

2. Iron Man scene with Howard. My favorite by far, it really gave closure to Tony and his father's words made him even more determine to put down Thanos. I literally can't think of a better way to give his character a proper sent off.

3. Tony and Morgan scene. He went from a war monger to a hero then becomes a father, a god when he finally sacrifices himself to literally saved the Universe. With Morgan, she gives him perspective of life and the notion of family is that someone must sacrifice to be human. But on the other hand, he can't help to trying to fix everything, which is what Thanos said about him "being cursed by knowledge".

4. Cap vs Cap. Young cap beats old cap in straight h2h, but old cap is much wiser and cunning haha.

5. Hail Hydra! It's perfect for 2 reasons: Old cap being wiser and less violent decides to use more than punches and kicks. And the fact that Russos use it as a parody throwback to WS about how absurd a single line is able to determine someone is or isn't on your side.

6. Lebowski Thor! Chris Hemsworth always wanted to do this according to an interview, a burnout Thor and his dry humor and hopelessness really sold us what he has been through.

7. Thor scene with Frigga. It's heart wrenching to see Thor trying to hold back his tears and unable to save his mother...

8. The whole of 3rd act. From the Prof. Hulk snap to the portal opening and everyone comes out. It's the MOST EPIC scenes I have ever seen. No joke, beat Lord of the Ring, Star Wars. And it's so well executed too, but the Russos did it 100% right, I am floored after witnessing that.

9. Cap with M'jolnir! Nuff said.

10. Cap grows old and Falcon becomes Cap. America.

Cons:

1. They gutted Hulk, AGAIN! He has no action at all, I think the Russos hate the hulk for some reason. And here I thought we could finally see a DCEU level fight between Thanos and Hulk, turns out none!

2. Thor abandoned his people and ran off with the GotG?! I was like wutttt... Didn't your father said you must protect your people or whomever is left after Ragnarok. It's just so out of character for him, and undone every character building of him in the last 3 movies

3. The whole Nebula cross timeline sync shenanigans. it's honestly beyond my suspense of disbelief

4. Thor's fight with Thanos is so lackluster, even Cap fare better than Thor did.

5. Dr.Strange is written away to hold off a flood, when he could've be more useful in fighting Thanos.

Overall

It's still a very very good movies, lives up the hype!

Flashpoint, and it's not even close

Time travel in Endgame is more like an afterthought. Not to mention it's Space travel too, like they can travel to Asgard...even bypassing Bifrost.
