@koays: This is the first time in a long time I’ve just sat and binged issues. This story is actually sucking me in. Hank went full heel. I know you don’t like Logan but I think watching Logan run through Beast again and again might be something we both can enjoy.

@koays: Just started reading from issue 26 to 28. Beast really taking the cake so far.

@life_without_progress: I grew up on stuff like Tenchi-Muyo so I’ve watched them since I was a kid. I don’t actively seek them out, but I do get introduced or end up watching some too. How I found QQ lol.

OT: She’s very familiar and I feel like I should know but the name escapes my mind.

Cody and Roman was fantastic. I do hope and feel like Cody should be the guy to beat Roman but he hasn’t really struggled. I think there is more story to be told, and probably after the 1000 day mark for Reigns, Cody should be champ by summerslam .

@king_saturn: Didn’t miss much. Was good for what we were given but Finn getting hurt and the refs checking him I think messed with it a bit, especially after the Shane injury.

Omos vs Lesnar was meh. The ladies 4 way tag match wasn’t anything special. Asuka vs Bianca was a great match but Asuka should’ve won. There isn’t anything left for Bianca with that belt and her run this past year has been largely forgettable. Bianca is great, but they really built Asuka up from coming back with the new gimmick, destroying everyone in the chamber. Her dethroning Bianca at this point would’ve been a nice jumpstart for the division, and move Bianca to Smackdown. There isn’t anyone left on Raw except maybe Bayley right now that could beat her.

Edge vs Balor I feel off about. The demon shouldn’t have lost and I get the injury but maybe the Shane McMahon thing made it an audible. Idk.

Good HIAC match but just didn’t feel right.

Just some of the decisions with the last few matches weren’t the right ones IMO. Demon Balor has now lost his two matches since being back from NXT. Asuka was rebuilt and just lost again when it counted. It makes their stock weaker.

So far the triple threat was amazing but this night has largely been a disappoint to me after night 1.

@mike_fowler: You know I thought of it that way a bit too, but it just being before the main event and with the Usos vs Sami/KO match even starting off a bit with the crowd being quiet for a few minutes had me almost worried. Almost extended that exhaustion if you will. I won’t disagree with your statement because it probably was but I still saw it as a waste of time but whatevs. It wasn’t an important part of the show.

Gotta say, very good night tonight.

Cena vs Austin Theory was a great opener. It did what it had to do. Didn’t go too long. Didn’t overstep any boundaries. Cena can still go, Theory plays a good heel, and he got the rub. I’m still not a huge fan of Theory but he’s good. 7/10.

The Showcase tag match. Had some great moments, all teams did pretty well with each other. . Gable’s chaos theory to Strowman was amazing. Fun match and a good follow up to Cena and Theory. 7/10.

Rollins vs Logan Paul. Great match between the two. I did think it was a little slow at , and Rollins looked like he was taking his time with some moves and spots, but nothing to deter from the rest. Great psychology. They used every little detail from Logan’s hand to building around, the KSI spot etc. Logan Paul is incredibly athletic, Rollins brought a great match out of him. My only gripe with Logan Paul is I’m not a fan of him using so many finisher and signature moves. Buckshot lariat. Superman Punch. Curbstomp. Frog Splash. Gts now. I know a lot of people borrow moves from other wrestlers as very few moves are unique or special anymore, but I think he does it a little excessively. But I would say he’s easily the best celebrity wrestler we have had and he has a very natural talent for it. Though I do despise him and wouldn’t miss him if WWE let him go. 8/10.

Damage Ctrl vs Lita, Trish and Becky. Overall it was fine? Trish and Lita did good. Becky is great. Bayley, Iyo and Dakota are all fantastic. I think they’ve been booked into oblivion even with 2 title runs. I think it was a hard match coming off of the other 3 but everyone did good. Nothing to write home about. 6/10.

Dominick and Rey was a very good match. Great entrances. Great storytelling. The LWO and judgement day getting involved, Rey’s family playing parts in it. Dominick has come a long way and he’s played this heel turn perfectly. Rey can still go and both put on a great match. 7.5/10

Rhea vs Charlotte. Honestly…might be my match of the night. I have had such a disdain for Charlotte over the last 5-6 years. I think she has done little for that locker room. She’s grown complacent. Burying talent. She’s been lazy in the ring. So force fed down our throats and far from deserving it. But I have to say she showed up. This is the Charlotte that needs to show up. She brought the best out of Rhea and vice versa. It was intense. Well paced. Both beat the hell out of each other. And the right person won. I’d say this was a 9/10 and arguably the best woman’s match we’ve had this year so far in pro wrestling period. I hope Bianca and Asuka can follow suit.

Pat McAfee vs Miz. Waste of time, killed a lot of the Rhea and Charlotte momentum. Done more for shiggles but nothing worth it IMO. 4/10.

Sami and KO vs Usos. Just damn near perfect. The storytelling, the build up, the emotions, the intensity. This was probably the best Wrestlemania main event we have had since Daniel Bryan won the world title and the ending gave me chills just watching it happen. 9/10.

Amazing night tonight. This was from top to bottom the most Wrestlemania feeling Wrestlemania we have had in a long time. I know I rated a few of the matches like 7/10 but it’s far from a bad thing. A lot of the matches started a bit slow but once they got going, they all evolved. The matches then felt important, they all put on great performances. I don’t think anything was a 10/10 for me but just a banger of night one tonight. I do expect more from the card tomorrow night and I hope they don’t disappoint. Rhea and Charlotte was match of the night for me.

The debate is really between Bucky and Nat and I feel that can arguably go either way. You have the argument since Bucky did train Natasha, he has gotten the better of her at times. But likewise a non-holding back Natasha would’ve killed him according to Bucky himself. I think Nat has been given a decent buff over the last 10ish years. She’s being shown to be more prominent. Bucky hasn’t really had that as far as I recall. Between 2005ish-2013 was his time to really shine, ever since Brubaker was his primary writer. And since then it was Widow that started taking off in that series and has just grown since then IMO. Both have beaten Crossbones. Both have been credited by Wolverine. Both have fought Daredevil, Captain America. Frank and I’ll touch on that later. Natasha has her showings against Elektra, Lady Bullseye.

So breaking them down, I do think Bucky vs Natasha has grown to be a toss up. I think Nat and Bucky have had a enough fights that it’s grown to be closer than I would’ve said some years ago, favoring Winter Soldier. I think Bucky has a slight strength edge, save for the bionic arm being marginally stronger. Nat being faster. Bucky I think is overall slightly more skilled but not enough Nat’s agility and slight speed edge is enough to balance it. Natasha has a slightly more versatile arsenal. So I’d say who gets a better shot on who then takes the edge.

But let’s not forget Frank. I love Frank and think he’s criminally underrated a lot of the times. This is still a guy that is crafty, dirty, and has the most meta pain tolerance it’s ridiculous. He’s still given Daredevil some serious fights, managing to pull off things like shoot his baton out of the air. He’s shot Spider-Man’s web shooters off. Given Wolverine some issues at times. Deflect Cap’s shield thrown. He had Sam Cap beat IMO using the environment and better tactics. His fight with Daken is still insane to me, having a broken ankle and being shot through the leg and still giving Daken hell to the point he’s losing limbs and still staring him down. But against the other two? He’s never had a real one on one with Bucky. He cheap shotted Bucky in the face only for him to get flipped with Barnes saying he’s stupid. He tackled him and had a gun to Bucky’s jaw with Barnes pinning him down. And then when Punisher pistol whipped him when he was teamed up with Cage, Hawkeye, Rand and Fury Jr. and made them almost look like joke by dodging Danny and having him hit Luke but an arrow from Hawkeye took him out. Natasha they have their infamous h2h tie in War Journal with Nat being faster and Frank being stronger . But she had him beat during Secret Empire though she made him work. I don’t think Frank has any major edge outside of pain tolerance and accuracy I guess but they’re both so good with their weapons it’s almost minimal.

So taking everything into consideration I think it might edge to Widow but a case for a Bucky can be made. The city is empty and she’s the most mobile one here. She’s shown she can dodge attacks from both, with her grapple, the city being empty it’s a decent edge. She has the most versatile arsenal here, widow bites are major game changers. I don’t think she’s got bigger firepower between Bucky and Castle. I know she has bombs and her pistols but they have bigger guns and probably bigger bombs. I think just between gear versatility, skill, her own stats, and potential maneuverability, she’s the biggest problem here. But I do think Bucky has that mix of stats and stronger artillery and skill that he can get a situation in Widow where he can take the edge. Frank kinda runs sidelined on this and could be the distraction one of the other needs that gives Bucky or Nat that edge up, but ultimately Punisher goes down to whomever is the last one standing.
