@krandorThnks for the help, but I am still puzzled. This deletion happens to some of the comics not all. I am currently editing hundreds and most have no issues. Even moving some comics to their proper series folders and editing no problem. I think the data is not being written to the files. Is it supposed to be written to the ComicInfo.xml file? Because I donot see consistency. 1. Some comics donot have this ComicInfo file and scraped data is ok. 2. Some comics donot have this file and scraped data gets deleted after editing. 3. Some comics have the file but donot have the scraped info saved to the ComicInfo.xml file and scraped data is ok. 4. Some comics have the file but donot have the scraped info and scraped data is being deleted. So I am going bald on this.:

@krandor: I am using comicrack and all comics are in .cbz. I am changing file name only. To remove unnecassary info such as "(UberSoldier-DCP)"

1. Comics are scraped and data all ok.

2. Update all book files ok.

3. Edited files in file explorer.

4. Scanned books

5. After scanning some of the comics that were edited had their metadata deleted. Why?
