@d9000: I'm not trying to be a jerk about it. But it's not a secret who I'm talking about. Just not necessary to go into. And as for the movie, Hunnam did call it a love story without a love story. So it's still sort of one. They had a connection. Would Hollywood do the same thing if it was two dudes or two ladies? They may not have had a romance but I PERSONALLY didn't care for the emotional part of this movie. If others did, that's great.
Tony's dislike for Pacific Rim is pretty weird beacuse Del Toro said the whole point was that they weren't lovers and they just had a deep connection. They don't even kiss at any point in the movie.
Agreed. If you're going to dislike it for any reason it should be the SUPER cliche explanation as to why the Kaiju are attacking our dimension. That was basically my only problem Pacific Rim anyway.
I wasn't going to go into full details since it's not a Pacific Rim podcast. I also mentioned it wasn't a good time when I saw it. That's what happens when you find out a friend has passed away.
I'll be talking to Red Ranger (Brennan Mejia) and Pink Ranger (Camille Hyde) over the phone Friday, September 17. Let me know if there's any serious questions you want me to ask.
@bonzi161: Yeah, I hate to say it but there's kind of more potential. In theory, mutants should develop their powers at puberty. With Inhumans and the Terrigen Mists and crystals, you can get people of any age develop powers if its in their DNA. This explains why there wouldn't be a ton of 'powered people' running around the Cinematic Universe already. (Besides those we saw in Season 2).
