Physical Description:
Slim, pale, and perky, Izzy doesn't like to be touched but isn't afraid to show off some skin. Her face is frequently painted with dark makeup, specifically around the eyes and lips. She's short and nearly waifish, but besides the crest of white hair at the forefront of her scalp, she has no significant physical traits outside of any other teen girl.
Personality:
"Against the grain" is the grain for Isabelle "Izzy" DeLancey. She's rebellious, impetuous, rambunctious, insolent, disobedient, lazy, and all-around belligerent. She can often be found in her room, far away from the action or giving a damn about hunting monsters, whether she's listening to music, writing in her angsty journal, chatting online, studying, or practicing dark magic. She's an avid collector of weapons, and tends to prefer blunt ones. Blunt ones with spikes. The blacker, blunter, and spikier the better.

Izzy has no real powers that she hasn't learned on her own. She has some minor knowledge of magic that she cannot use in the field -- mostly black magic that she practices in secret. Using material focuses such as knives, blood, symbolism, and other such trinkets, Izzy can create multiple effects with ritual magic such as summoning and advanced curses.
Without time to prepare and use her not-insignificant magical knowledge, Izzy has only one ability -- the power to cast forth minor "hexes," which appear to be dark violet hazes and dramatically worsen the luck and fortune of the person they target.
Besides her magical abilities, Izzy is an adequate combatant. Frequently using blunt, improvised weapons such as baseball bats or crowbars, the teen ghost-hunter has a lot of pent-up anger and isn't afraid to let it out on a ghost, ghoul, human, or whatever-the-hell.

Weaknesses:
Isabelle isn't without weaknesses, regardless of her abilities not exactly being outstanding. In addition to the fact that she has all the weaknesses of a 17-year-old girl, she is extremely impetuous, reckless, and rebellious -- easy to influence and turn against her family. The dark powers she attempts to tap into are also occasionally beyond her control, and if she were to be consumed by the font of sinister energy she tries to control... it's hard to say what could happen.
