@royal_warrior: doesn't amp his stats? It looks like in,that video maul was going to win till the symbiotic took over.

I honestly think Maul would beat spidey. Maul has trained in a martial arts that almost every hit is meant to kill. Spidey is physically stronger than maul, but maul does have a few strengths of his own. He can use the force, his martial arts, his legs are powerful, I think his speed is closer to Spiderman than most think, amazing reflexes, and of course his saber.
