It’s also important to note that Arcane is accesible as fuck. You don’t have to be a fan of the video game it is based from (im not) nor know anything about it to enjoy it. It works perfectly as a stand alone show that only takes character designs and concepts and builds up entirely off-source material stories. That said, the show obviously has some soft winks and hints for the fans of the game but none of it affects the quality of the show nor has any impact on its development. I would recommend anyone to watch it.
Arcane was overall a better show hands down. Superb animation, extremely fleshed out characters, very organic dialogues, stellar action and absolutely better cinematography, photography and world building, pacing was spot on and the story, although not entirely original, is very well presented. Invincible, while being a quite good adaptation, is not groundbreaking besides presenting the super hero genre with a new narrative and its characters, while good, still have a slight feeling of script-like development in their interactions while Arcane’s are very humanized, relatable and fresh as hell.
Im willing to say Arcane is a very good candidate to be considered one of the best animated adaptations of any genre so far.
@olorun: You tag me over a 5 year old comment, call it a bad take and on top of it post some contextually wrong reasoning above it… Are you inhaling paint?
@the_hajduk: Daredevil and Steve have fought several times and in all of them they’ve been on equal footing. I don’t think Matt beats Steve, but it’s an extremely close fight either way. Depending on arguments either could take on the other.
