I'll get into that as soon as I'm done with the app I'm working on for the moment.

Hello !

I discovered The Amazing Spider-Man about 6 years ago with  J. M. Straczynski 's run ( Totally luved it ! <3 :p ). From the first issue with Ezekiel to the very last issue (One more day...).
And I gotta say I totally hated OMD (yes I do know it's been a very very long time since it was published :p ) so I just couldn't go on with the next issues. Instead of that I just read some cross-overs like House of M and World War Hulk. Those were pretty good.
After that I just stopped with comic books for about a year. And now I'm buying all the Ultimate X-Men/Spider-man/Avengers I can afford (they really don't look as good as JMS's work though).
I'm also into good old Frank Miller/Alan Moore comics (Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Year One, The Killing joke.. The classics).
I'm really into the Marvel thing, (loved Civil War) but not so much into the "outer space" thing (Silver surfer, Galactus, ... Fantastic 4) but I haven't read much of those so...

I would thus like to know... after all those years.. Is The Amazing Spider-Man getting better than he was during the Brand New Day thing ? Is it worth reading ? Which story arcs ?
Of course this is only my opinion and I'm only asking for yours. None of what will be said here is to be considered as an absolute truth. I hope you guys know that (maybe some of you DID love One more day ! ^^' )

Actually, your answers shouldn't be limited to the Amazing Spider-Man issues, it could be about any (Marvel) comic. Thanks in advance for guiding a neophyte such as me.
