As Draca began to explain the rules the great giants focus started to wander. His attention caught by the small flurry of dragons he slowly extended one hand out, his palm facing the sky. As he did so the moss and vines that wrapped around his whole body began to shift. Flowers that had been obscured by his bulk slowly made their way around until it was sitting nicely in his palm. Gargamight had no explicit control over nature, or powers that let him bend it to his will. Rather he'd existed so long and had spent so long communing with nature that he came to the conclusion that all beings were tied to the earth. He saw this as something all creatures would realize if they abandoned their own desires and discarded their sense of self-worth and importance. If one gave themselves up merely a cog and understood the reaches of the world extended far greater than one's self than they could truly understand it. It had taken time, many lifetimes, in fact, but the earthen colossi did accept this and the world, in turn, embraced him.

Extending his connection with nature to the earth-born dragons he attempted to call them to him. To speak with them and ask if he could see them, animals tended to respond quite well to this and he had no reason to believe they would not. He bore no trace of malice in his heart, only the desire to see and learn. As he called for the small creatures fluttering around him he looked over to the woman who approached him. It seemed that she wanted to join him on the expedition, that was something he would quite enjoy. It gave him the chance to examine to creatures he had yet to see before. Unable to verbally respond in a language she would understand he instead let out an earthy groan. An ancient tongue long lost in time, the words of a race that was born somewhere in the Permian era. He complimented the unintelligible groan with a slight nod of his head, a universal message that was more likely to get his answer across.

As Draca began talking about why they were here, the gentle giant looked to familiarize himself with the rest of the team. Starting off there was a young child with brown hair. She had been tending to a few flowers when he'd arrived, and from the way they were acting now, it's seemed they had liked her. So Garamight decided he would too, if the plants and earth responded positively to her then she was alright in his book.

The person was a man wearing an orange suit, he seemed to be sticking rather close to the woman who had just revealed herself to be not so human after all. She appeared more snake-like, along with a tail and fangs to match. It was a species completely new to the giant and he wished to learn more. However this wasn't the right time for that, he could find out more later. He was here to figure what the strange creature that landed on him was and what these dragons what Draca was talking about. His long rest had created large gaps in his history of the world, and he intended to fill it. This was his first step.

The next was a blond woman, she had arrived in the largest dragon. Choosing to fly instead of the rather convenient teleportation the rest had used. Perhaps that was one that only the smaller dragons had. The woman herself seemed quite excitable and was rushing about from Draca to the van while talking to everyone along the way. Perhaps too fast moving for Gargamight, he preferred to take things a bit slower. It was a byproduct of his size, careful and caution was the only way he could live without endangering countless lives.

Second to last was more of an entourage, he knew fighters when he saw them. While his knowledge of human society was limited, he knew from the men he'd observed and the UNKD that this was that these species fighters looked like. There sometimes was a variance when it came to height, though that was only one of them. He never did get around to asking if she was the only one who could do that, however, he hadn't seen anyone else do that yet. However they seemed to be following the orders of the oldest man there, if he wanted to communicate with them it was likely best to talk to him first.

Lastly was the leader herself, who had just finish her talk and gestured to a portal. One that stood behind her, beckoning them into an advantage. One by one the group filed in. Following behind was the lumbering Gargamight, last of the group through with a rocky smile. Stepping through, from one world to another, one so similar yet so different.

Gargamight liked his new job. The days of hiding from humans had long since passed after he joined the UNKD. Now he was free to observe or relax as he did now. He was lying on his back, half submerged in the ocean as he looked towards the sky. He was near his favorite island, the one where he had met his first friend since his awakening. A spark by the name of Ali, who he had shared a nice talk with before being forced back into the ocean. Now, however, he was safe, and here just to relax. His contract with the UNKD only needed him to be around for the Kaiju that couldn't be handled themselves and that didn't prove to be to be very often.

As he watched birds fly above him he spotted something out of place. One of the birds that were moving along in the flock... wasn't a bird at all. It was much larger and headed straight for him. Slowly raising his hand up he extended a finger, giving the odd creature a place to land. As the small being landed on his hand he looked at the even closer, it was unlike anything he'd ever seen before. It was a flying reptile, one that wasn't much bigger than a horse. It reminded him of a dinosaur, but as far as he knew of none were left, nor had he seen any like this when there were around.

However, the real shock came with the creature opened his mouth and began to talk. "Gargamight, Rock. My master formally requests your presence on an expedition. More information shall be relayed, so long as you choose to accompany us." Gargamight cocked his head, his face a mix of confusion, and a look a joy. Like a child who had just been offered whatever he desired out of a candy shop. Nodding his head he lowered his finger until it was pressed against his chest. He was unsure where they were going, but he didn't know how his large frame would cope. So he decided to opt for a smaller form more suited for interactions with normal humans.

From his chest, two stone hands broke their way out of his skin, followed shortly by the rest of his body. As Gargamights large black eyes closed, the small golem that he clawed its way out of him opened his. Walking up to the dragon the less than giant giant, nodded his head and placed a hand on the creatures back. Before they both vanished, leaving behind the massive rock body that Gargamight had transferred himself from and dropping him off in the middle of a rainforest.

It is hard to believe a being that descended from dragons would look so human, if that is indeed her true form.

I was there for the dinosaur, I wouldn't call them early dragons, however. They were their own creatures unlike any others, their fall was saddening.

(ninja'd)

A young human, a byproduct of the X-gene something seeming more and more prevalent.

Ever since his awakening he had been someone who had to hid. The humans feared him for his size and the threat they thought he posed. He was forced to hide beneath the ocean and keep his location hidden. He’d even wondered if the world had changed too much for him back then. So when the mist was released and humanity fell to the monsters Gargamight was able to finally stand. He was able to walk the world in peace, the monsters of the mist able to be calmed enough to let him pass unharmed. While the sudden fall of humanity might cause one to think that the giant would have used his strength to help he stayed back. In truth the amount of humans that dominated the world had caused him to raise an rocky eyebrow. Would the world truly let a species rule for this long? The answer had proven to be no, and it was quite fitting that they caused it themselves.

Still it was just part of the cycle, humans had no more right to the world then the monsters of the mist. Who has he too stand in its way, a watcher was what he was, a pacifist. However, he wouldn’t let a species be wiped out completely. So when the UNKD called for him to protect the last remnants of humanity he answered.

It had been years since then and the fights were taking their toll on the giant. His body was covered in cracks from head to toe and he was missing his lower jaw. Still there was no end in sight. For every wave that they pushed back more kept coming. Yet he would not let the humans fall, if a man like Ali would keep fighting to keep them alive then he too would not give up. However Ali had been missing for a while and people were assuming the worse. As much as he might have wanted to search for him there was no way the UNKD could just send out one of their heaviest hitters on a search run. So instead he sat on the ground meditating as a pickup truck lay at his feet. He was skeptical of the person that Kajia had chosen to met with but he didn’t say anything. After all she had showed him compassion and was someone that Ali trusted. Still he didn’t like the look of this Vandal.
