My pull list

Just a little list of which books I'm currently following and why.

List items

  • This is probably my favorite book right now. I've been hooked since the Valiant preview from Free Comic Book Day. A super intriguing story in a rad science fiction setting, with fantastic art. Definitely a must read.

  • What can I say, I've been a fan since I was a kid, and this book delivers what I love about these characters in a way that's fresh and well thought out. I was little little skeptical about how they made the art match the cartoons, but it really works. Also, this book has some of the most believably written characters and dialog that I've seen in a comic.

  • I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I've recently become a big fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Rocket and Groot are such fun and awesome characters, and this book delivers them in the same awesome vein as the film. Also, the art style is just rad. A super fun read.

  • A fresh new take on one of my favorite Marvel characters. I'm a longtime fan of both Dan Slott and Mike Allred, so it's awesome to see them working together. The story and art are as great as you'd expect from those two, and I'm really enjoying Dawn Greenwood and her influence on Norrin. Naming his board "Toomie" is just too funny.

  • This book is as awesome as the name implies. It's a guy who fights robots! Need I say more? If I must, I'll just say beyond some rather awesome actions scenes, there is a really interesting story, full of complex and fun characters.

  • Only one issue in so far, and I'm hooked. Great art and characters, and a story that left me wanting more. Definitely a fun read. Can't wait for the next issue!

  • As a lifelong fan of anything Jim Henson, I just can't pass up this book. While it may be a bit of a guilty pleasure, this book is beautifully illustrated, and had me laughing out loud a few times. Another super fun read!

  • After a couple of decades, it's quite awesome to see more of one of my favorite characters from film. The first issue definitely left me wanting more.
