By "down to earth" I don't mean "realistic" heroes. I mean, the kind that you would relate to, the kind that you would look up to, the kind thar are more genuine and "human", like us. For example, even though I love the "realistic" Batman, I can't say I can relate to the genious billionaire playboy. The superpowered nerdy teenager Spiderman, in my opinion, is a far more down to earth character.

@deathpoolthet1000: then what was your point? You asked, why won't they kill a potentialy dangerous person? All I'm saying is, why should they kill a person who has proven time and time again that he can be trusted?

@deathpoolthet1000: gee, I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Supes saves not just his city, but the whole world on a daily basis and that proves that he can be trusted? I have a better idea! How about they kill a certain rich boy, whose actions almost led to the destruction of the justice league?

I am not that familiar with the character, so I was wondering if any of you experts could help me. I know for a fact, that only "the worthy" could lift Thor's hammer. I mean, has it ever been explained in the comics, what do you have to do to become worthy? Do you need to be powerful, have a "pure heart" or something like that?
