Anthony Mackies Falcon is kinda a jerk to people except to cap. He's rude, sullen, and passive aggressive.

Turtles are too skilled, too fast, too strong for Logan to tag them. Wolverine's durability keep him in the fight way longer than he should be, but in the end, he loses.

As many have stated, original Cyber takes this. He's far too skilled of a hand to hand combatant, and is covered in Adamantium. Thing would only win if he had the help of the rest of the FF.

If according to popularity and plot, Wolverine.

If based on powers and abilities, mathematically, Gambit in a stomp.

The force of Gambit's explosions are dependent on the mass of the object being charged, and the degree to which he charges it.

His playing card has very little mass, but has the explosive force of a hand grenade.

If he chose to fully charge a 10mm steel ball bearing, it could demolish a 20 story building.

If he fully charged a parked car, it would leave a crater where NYC used to be. Wolverine is way way way underpowered here. It's just too bad the writers generally don't understand how Gambit's powers work.

Anyways, Gambit takes out the majority of Covenant here. He's a powerhouse.

@starscream37: Given that Kassidy's physiology is 100% alien, probably not.

@redbull:

Wolverine would get stomped by Carnage like a baby's rattle.

Wolverine has a tough time against Spiderman, and Carnage is Spiderman's superior by miles. Carnage is stronger, faster, and more dangerous than Spiderman and Venom combined.

Wolverine could literally do nothing to Carnage, while Carnage could tear Logan apart like a plate full of buffalo wings.

That being said, it would be a tough fight between Carnage and Red. It could go either way. Carnage is one of the most lethal villains in Marvel's NYC. But Omega Red is a total team wrecker who is nigh invincible.

Really? Not a single response?? I swear comic fans have no imagination. Everyone likes the same old formula. I should have made a generic thread about Wolverine vs. Venom or something..

So in this scenario, Gambit is spontaneously teleported to the Halo universe around the time just before the initial days of the Covenant's invasion of Reach. Think "Winter Contingency" time-frame. Gambit makes contact with the UNSC command, and they eventually decide to enlist his skills to help ward off a small Covenant ground invasion force.

This is classic Gambit at his peak, no holding back, max access to his powers. He is armed with 10 decks of cards, his staff, and a pocket full of 1/4" steel ball bearings.

The Covenant is an invasion force of like five hundred standard covenant ground troops, to include basic grunts led by basic elites minors, basic brutes, jackals (non-sniper versions), 3 pairs of hunters. The Covenant has no vehicles in the region.

The fight takes place in a large shipyard/construction site that was hastily abandoned just minutes prior, as the Covenant just made their presence known. Gambit has been on Reach for several weeks by that point, and has been extensively briefed on the Covenant, their troops, weapons, methods, society, battle strategy, etc. So he knows who he's going up against. He is willing to use everything in his environment to his advantage including stealth, or covenant weapons.

Can he take down this invasion force?
