@itsaworld: I understand why you dropped Spidey, I initially didn't like the change in art either. The book's also over now, it ended with issue 12. Let me just say, issue 12 alone is worth reading the rest of it. It's a great sendoff to the little series and is essentially a love letter to what makes the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man so damn great.

1. Captain America: Civil War (Eight minutes of screentime and Tom still managed to blow me away)

Nothing's even come close for me and seeing Tom's Peter/Spidey made me realize how ridiculous it was that I'd had to settle for either a decent Peter OR a decent Spidey, never a fantastic portrayal of both sides of the character, for more than a freaking decade. Just my opinion, guys but I think that's definitely changed.

@animehunter: As much as I'd love it to be true, this was floating around months ago. I think I remember it being debunked, though I'm not entirely sure. Suppose we'll see in four days.

@animehunter: Got nothing against Kamala but that one lone comment beneath the article literally sums everything up quite nicely.

Plus, I'm sick to death of people comparing these new diverse legacy heroes to Peter Parker, sick of it.

'Miles is totally the new Peter Parker! Except boring! Except OP! Except he has absolutely nothing unique about him and was solely created to be the 'black Spider-Man' because apparently, that was a quota that needed filling!'

'Kamala's just like Peter Parker except she's a female Muslim who's nothing like Peter Parker!'

'Spider-Gwen's just like Peter Parker except she's a chick with spider-powers instead of a guy! But that's automatically better, right?! That she has boobs?! Totally!'

Sick of it.

@itsaworld: Haha, don't be so hard on yourself, man. Naughty Dog, Suckerpunch, Insomniac Games, it's easy to get mixed up.

As for the story, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Insomniac have a great track record so I'm optimistic, though we haven't seen anything yet of the story aspect of the game, we can only speculate at this point.

@zariusii: So... there's a chance Ultimate Peter could still be alive?

@animehunter: Marvel literally just got Peter back (not even fully) and people are still crying for 'more spider-people'? Yeah, let's not run this new Spider-Man series into the ground by shifting focus onto a bunch of false imitations.
