What if League members were chosen by Lantern rings?

Imagine the scenario: The watchtower goes dark. Communications are cut. Hal Jordan shines his green light in the dark not knowing that his teammates have been chosen by one corps or another.

List items

  • Red ring. Individually Jason and Ronnie are not the prime examples of angry individuals together they are a hotpot of emotion. The two cannot stand each other at times and the red will not let something like such pass.

  • Red ring. Despite the clear strategic mind behind the hawk-mask, lies the warrior that carries so much rage. It takes everything in her power to hide it but the ring sees all.

  • Red ring. The Dog of War is always looking for a fight. Despite being raised by High Father, Orion is still as bloodthirsty as his real father. It would come to no surprise if all he sees is red.

  • Orange ring. Once a thief, always a thief. Of course O'Brien is reformed but some things are just ingrained.

  • Orange ring. In his bid to protect all living beings Superman unknowingly attracts the Orange light. Here is the prime example of when being greedy isn't always that bad.

  • Yellow ring. "My disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts." He thrives in fear and could probably the best at weaponizing the emotion even without a ring.

  • Yellow ring. Once the head of the Furies, she has come a long way. Still one does not just forget or stop being intimidating. Barda may be a master of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat, but fear may be her greatest asset.

  • Green ring. A natural born leader and a fierce combatant. Canary may have her meta-human abilities but that does not cancel out the fact that she is still basically human. It takes some major guts to show up between the clash of immortals with nothing but your fists.

  • Green ring. It takes a lot of guts to face off with immortals using a bow and arrows. What else is there to say?

  • Green ring. That silent and sneaky guy at the back has tons of will beneath all those disguises. As a telepath it would take huge amounts of will power to enter another's mind and do as he pleases. His own mental self-control is a feat in itself.

  • Blue ring. You can tell by the direction he runs in. It's not away from anything but always towards something. For a guy who lives in between the ticks of a clock it won't be difficult to imagine him as someone hopeful for a tomorrow.

  • Blue ring. What else color would an escape artist attract? Born on Apokolips no one could blame Scott Free from looking for a way out. Hope is always somewhere out there or why else would he do something so futile as escape the planet of woe.

  • Indigo ring. Arthur has been presented as uncaring. Who can blame him? He's an outcast from both sides of his heritage. He has hardened his heart to that point that he just doesn't care, or appears not to care. The Indigo ring will dig the emotions out of him.

  • Indigo ring. After his incident he no longer resembles humanity inside or out. Little by little the Captain is losing his touch. The indigo light would target him and dig out all those past emotions.

  • Indigo ring. Reeling from her mind wipe incident, Zatanna is a mess. Having broken ranks with the League her emotions must be in a flux. Her intentions were for the best and maybe the others just didn't see it that way. Suppose the indigo light can purify those intentions.

  • Star Sapphire. He'd hate it, so much, but Billy can't deny that his identity revolves around love. His powers may be derived from magic but the way he uses it and the how he has shared it to start a family just screams out to the Sapphire ring!

  • Star Sapphire. Despite her warrior exterior, Wonder Woman is a lover at heart. She'd only use force when necessary and is not new to using her words to fix a situation. Did you see how she handled her half-sister Siracca? Now that's love.

  • Black Lantern. He was lucky to be alive, saved from death by the last minute modifications his father made on Vic. While his cybernetics do keep him alive separated he is as good as dead. The ring will latch on to the flesh but his consciousness is still in the computer, right?
