If I can only live in a world with one or the other then it would have to be video games.

Anime is great but I play and think about video games "A LOT".

6 games everyone should play of the top of my head since you asked for recommendations:

  1. Metal Gear Solid
  2. ICO
  3. Shadow of the Colossus
  4. Super Mario Galaxy
  5. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  6. Persona 4

@pikahyper:

Thanks for saying to take a look at the wiki edit comments as I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Is there anything else aside from the following I should keep in mind.

  • Section headers such as Plot Summary should be h2 headers.
  • Story titles/headers should not be in all caps and if you are going to add the story titles like this they must be as h4 headers not bold.
  • Colons are not needed after headers.
  • Links go in the associations section and should be kept to a minimum within an issue page.
  • No pictures on issue pages.
  • As odd as it sounds, we keep typos in the solicits.
  • Page order: solicits in italics then page summary h2 header then page summary.

Question: Should the publisher issue summaries be a h3 header in italics above the information written by the user like on this page (link)?

@pikahyper: What you've said was helpful and so thanks.

Another question I just thought of is should characters who appear in a single issue such as Bill Carter who is featured in Tales to Astonish #27 belong in the wiki?

I know the issue of what exactly is a plot summary is probably a conversation that has been done to death around here but I've still a few questions regarding what is too much as I've seen frequent amounts of detail from various issues I've looked at. I did a bit of work on the first issue of Fantastic Four (link) but feel that I may have left too much information (granted there was quite a lot there to begin with). Then again the first issue of The Incredible Hulk also features a very detailed summary (link). Basically is there a guideline as to how many paragraphs on average should make up a plot summary?

Hello Comic Vine wiki editors.

As someone new to the site as well as comic vine wiki editing in general I was wondering if I could please get some pointers for making pages that I can having looked at the recommended editing reading and still being a tad unsure.

My primary interest is in editing individual issue pages and was wondering what exactly such pages should contain, i.e. today I learnt pictures on issue pages are avoided so tips like that would be appreciated too.

Also what else should a specific issue page contain aside from a plot summary and credit list i.e. should there be a points of note / interest section at the bottom of the page including information such as this was the first issue by writer x, these characters first made the appearance in this issue, etc.

Perhaps some pages (individual issues and other types) which are considered great pages would be useful as an example also.

Thanks in advance and I hope to be of some help to the site as a whole.
