The Argonauts

Conceived and designed by the collective genius of Sage 'Fraga' Manusco and Yoshi Senju, and built with the resources of the Kaiba-Senju Corporation, the Aethrium Argonauts are a series of large piloted robots capable of transforming into electronic machinery and primarily vehicles. The core component of the Argonauts is that which is responsible for their unique ability of physical transformation. The component is Memory Metal; a revolutionary combination of highly advanced nanotechnology, femtotechnology (the manipulation of excited energy states in atomic nuclei) and Aethrium. While used as a means of strengthening and bolstering the durability and energy-absorbing capabilities of the Argonauts, Aethrium's primary role is another.

Fundamentally, it's role in the construction of the Argonauts is to account for nanotechnology's vulnerability to heat through the use of it's extraordinary energy-absorption mechanisms. Though it's key quality is absorbing energy and releasing it in a controlled manner, Aethrium's many properties render it the perfect material for the Argonaut Series. With properties made possible by it's one-of-a-kind ability to store energy in it's bonds and release it when needed, Aethrium is a lightweight and near-perfect battery material. Principally, it absorbs kinetic energy, and because of this the Aethrium Argonauts can perfectly deflect bullets without so much as a nudge from their momentum.

Furthermore, all Argonaut are designed with a feature that exploits the fact that there is a finite number of ways particles can be arranged to create different forms of matter, specifically vehicles and electronics. With this feature, all Argonauts can scan the fundamental makeup of the matter that makes up vehicles and electronics and use it's nano and femtotechnology to transform into the scanned vehicle etc. by replicating it's fundamental structure. In order to facilitate an Argonaut's operation by the pilot, each Argonaut model is fitted with the Matrix (Created both IC & OOC by Yoshi Senju); a bio-sculpted assist-interface accessory that transfers the sensory input from the pilot's nervous system and modifies the input according to a template and library designed by the specific Argonaut model. All Argonaut pilots are required to be Matrix users.

Kid Yamamoto - #1

Immediately identified by it's distinct yellow color scheme, Kid Yamamoto is the Gold Standard Genius' primary and most piloted Argonaut. With a width of 4.5 meters (14.7 feet) and a height/depth of 5.6 meters (18.3 feet), Kid Yamamoto is specifically designed for Sage's own personal enjoyment. Because of it's Aethrium components, Kid Yamamoto is incredibly durable, primarily due to the metal's energy-absorption properties. Additionally, the Argonaut features an on-board computer that provides digital summaries of the environment, acts as a co-pilot and offers other services such as optimizing Kid Yamamoto's sensory capabilities e.g. thermal vision etc.

Furthermore, Kid Yamamoto features oxygen tanks which provide the pilot with breathable oxygen. However, in the event that the oxygen tanks are damaged, the Argonaut provides the pilot with alternative sources of oxygen. Exhaled carbon dioxide for example, can be recycled into oxygen. While the Aethrium in it's design is largely responsible for it's great durability, Kid Yamamoto's armored layers also include a robust transparent canopy made from a polycrystalline composite, possibly some sort of synthetic sapphire made with inter-layers to resist cracking and thermal damage. Furthermore, the Argonaut is constructed with full titanium core alloys and many a diesel engine per artificial muscle strands.

Shock absorbers are attached with magnetorheological dampers, enabling an appropriate sense of balance on an array of terrain in any situation. The complex labyrinth of balance plates and pressure sensors housed within the feet calculate the thousands of micro-adjustments per second required to perform maneuvers. Additionally, cooling vents maintain temperature and channel water through the circulatory coolant system, and hyper-torque drives facilitate muscle strands increased locomotion. A nuclear-vortex turbine maintains health checks and returned radio-chemical readings in excess of safety parameters. Flaunting more than one feature, the turbine can also be used to fire a directed thermal beam.

Due to it's size and powerful artificial muscle system, Kid Yamamoto is capable of moving very large and heavy objects. Additionally, with rocket-thrusters built into it's elbows for the purpose of maximizing the force behind it's punches, Kid Yamamoto enjoys the thrust provided from the elbow-thrusters to accelerate it's punches and exponentially increase it's striking power. Kid Yamamoto also features a highly sophisticated scanning system that uses a variety of passive and active scanners ranging from visual, thermographic and radio detectors to radar and laser detection. Furthermore, it can provide long-range topographical scanning resolution and deploy an orbital multi-static grid of radar-emitting micro-satellites/probes that can deliver a digital elevation of the terrain at 15 meters per pixel resolution.

For slower scanning and rendering speed ideal for geological and biological prospecting, archaeological research and long-term security surveillance, it can lower to 0.001 millimeter per pixel while the spherical geometry of it's multi-static grid allows for exceptional cross-sectioning and a strong resistance to electronic countermeasures.

  • Electromagnetic Cannon: Among the Argonaut's weaponry is a cannon that uses an electromagnetic field to shape and accelerate a stream of superheated molten metal to near-relativistic velocities.
  • Electric Cannon: A charged semiautomatic heavy cannon that requires only thermal clips to address any apparent power problems, the Electric Cannon makes use of an invisible laser to ionize the air and create a path for a high-ampere electric shock.
  • Anti-War System: The anti-war system is comprised of a sophisticated munition launch system consisting of twin missile launchers mounted on Kid Yamamoto's arms. When triggered, each pod fires a single homing missile that the pilot must lock onto a target. As a counter against radar-guided missiles, Kid Yamamoto's anti-war system is armed with two chaff pods, that when activated, release copper nickel-coated glass fibers or silver-coated nylon fibers featuring lengths equal to half of the anticipated radar wavelength.
  • Cloaking Mode: Finally, Kid Yamamoto features a cloaking mode. It's armored body uses a material with differently-colored lights (that are usually off) attached to motors which are embedded at the surface. These lights can be rotated and turned on and off dynamically to match the colors, shade etc. of the Argonaut's environment. The motors however, are not electric. They are in fact, protein motors which run on tiny microtube rails. And the lights are comprised of quantum dot nano crystals which are essentially highly fluorescent nanoscale metal semiconductors that can absorb and emit light of different wavelengths. These countless differently colored quantum dots move around in a controlled manner at the surface of the Argonaut's body and can cloak it by controlling their own intensity and position while Kid Yamamoto's integrated technology uses highly advanced video input to capture the surrounding environment.

After scanning a yellow and black 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, Sage set the muscle car as Kid Yamamoto's primary vehicle form. With stocky proportions, a low roof and a brawny 6.2-liter LT1 small-block V8 engine, the Yamamoto edition of the Camaro SS is built like a tank with 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Speedy and precise, the Camaro SS features aluminium front-suspension links. With quick electric-assisted steering and impressive front-end grip, the Camaro SS is excellent at cornering. A drive-mode selector tailors steering effort, damper stiffness, stability-control leniency, and transmission mapping to one of four settings; Touring, sport, track, and weather.

However, the Yamamoto edition of the Camaro SS is one whose true limits far exceed those of it's commercial sibling. It's tires for one do not use inert-gas pocket inflation. Instead they use burst-proof single unit nanotube skeletons that provide the buoyancy and ride of gas-pocket tires, but are extraordinary durable. Furthermore, it's braking system, when needed, switches to an automatic twin that incorporates large disc brakes that bring the Camaro SS to an immediate but controlled stop. Most interesting however, is that in it's car form, Kid Yamamoto features the default Camaro SS engine and a second engine. The second engine is a 6.2 liter, low-profile liquid-cooled hydrogen-injected ICE I/C micro-plant with an infinitely variable transmission.

The hydrogen fuel is burned at very high temperatures with a synthetic carbon/silicon catalyst for far better consumption than a modern, fossil-fuel engine.

The American Ninja - #2

Among Sage's largest Argonauts, the American Ninja stands at 7.5 meters (25 feet) with a width of 6.6 meters (21.6 feet) and features a red and blue color scheme styled with red flames. Constructed with Aethrium components, the American Ninja's design is one of overlapping layers. A sealed system that is superb for operating underwater etc. the American Ninja features an exoskeleton whose thick outer shell prevents ionized and non-ionized radiation from penetrating it's inner layers. Furthermore, the Argonaut has quantum filters that ensures the removal of toxins and bacteria that may linger in the air.

Different from Kid Yamamoto, the American Ninja's construction required (in addition to Aethrium) the use of a material forged from a chain of carbon atoms held together by either double or alternating single and triple atomic bonds. That material is carbyne. 200 times stronger than steel and possessing twice the tensile strength of graphene (a material strong enough that to break through a sheet of it, one would need an adult elephant standing on a pencil), carbyne is stronger than carbon nanotubes, and holds nearly three times the tensile stiffness of diamond. Furthermore, due to their tendency to take on side molecules, carbyne chains are exceptional at storing energy. Coupled with Aethrium's own extraordinary energy-absorption capabilities, the American Ninja is even better designed for absorbing, storing and releasing energy than other Argonauts.

However, despite carbyne's many great properties, it is sensitive to twisting. A disadvantage that is accounted for by Aethrium components that store binding energy to augment carbyne's ability to resist twisting. Furthermore, the American Ninja's exoskeleton is reinforced with a titanium-based alloy that features a refractive coating which provides limited protection against energy-based attacks due to the coating's dispersive properties. And in order to regulate it's temperature, the American Ninja features a gel-filled layer underneath it's exoskeleton. This hydrostatic layer of gel regulates temperature and counteracts high G forces and high velocity impacts when pressurized, protecting the the Argonaut's joints from high-impact forces by forcing itself into a rigid posture. Contained in a moisture-absorbing nano-material in the Argonaut is a sophisticated computing system.

Whereas most Argonauts are designed with artificial muscle layers as the source of their great strength, the American Ninja is different. Instead, this Argonaut owes it's immense strength to it's Aethrium and carbyne components which absorb and store large quantities of energy. Through this, the energy resources for the American Ninja's strength are enhanced as these higher energies are directed all the way down to the subtlest of the Argonaut's mechanical processes. Additionally, these energy resources increase the velocity of the system-to-system communication the Argonaut uses for it's speed. Like all Argonauts, the American Ninja features the same scanners that Kid Yamamoto does. Among it's forms of weaponry, the American Ninja has the following:

  • Flash-Forging Tools: Versatile tools capable of assembling small three-dimensional objects from common, recyclable industrial plastics, ceramics etc., the Argonaut's Flash-Forging Tools are exceptional for improvised repairs and modifications to a majority of standard items. As weapons, they can flash-forge disposable silicon-carbide blades e.g. swords. Translucent and as hard as diamond, these blades can be enhanced by the American Ninja by electrical, kinetic, or thermal energy. The Flash-Forging Tools can also transform into wrist-mounted bludgeons. They can also work as flashlights, scanners or as video, audio and holographic communication tools, manufacturing objects in real-time, and generating large, incandescent silicon-carbide shields.
  • Cannons & Plasma-Rockets: These are plasma-dispersing rockets, and cannons that electromagnetically propel incredibly heavy, high-density slugs of depleted uranium or ferric tungsten.
  • Exotic Beams: Cannons that fire the same ruby colored beams of exotic matter that Sage's visor and contact lenses can, they fire beams that do no generate heat, radiation, electrical or magnetic fields, and they are not part of the electromagnetic spectrum at all. A stream of exotic particles, the beams are a form of exotic matter composed of only one 'color' of gluon which makes possible the strange and extraordinary properties of their beams. The cannons act as receiving and transmitting devices due to the peculiar properties of the exotic matter the cannons' technology is uniquely sensitive to. Among the properties of the beams are that the exotic matter they are composed of is extremely heavy and ultra-dense, allowing them to punch a hole through nearly any physical material save for true adamantium and similar materials.

A red and blue Western Star 5700 XE semi-truck, the American Ninja's vehicle form is large, powerful and highly customized truck. Featuring a 72-inch sleeper, an EPA13 Detroit Diesel DD13 engine with 455 hp/1,550 lb.-ft and the DT12, 12-speed direct drive automated manual transmission, the 5700 XE is efficient and conserves fuel. Furthermore, the front end directs airflow over and around the base cab. There is a kick panel on the hood, just prior to the windshield that directs air up and over the cab. The front bumper keeps air from getting caught up in the wheel wells. Two end sections reduce wind resistance, and the the sun visor assists in directing air over top the roof cab.

Other aerodynamic features come in the form of fairings and flares that encourage air to flow to where it will provide minimal disruption to the vehicle’s forward progress. The signal light stalk is heavy, the gauges large and the dash features a classic, driver-friendly layout. Additionally, the 5700 XE possesses a collision mitigation system. When in cruise control, the collision system measures the distance to other vehicles in front of the truck and applies the engine and service brakes as necessary to maintain a safe following distance. Like the Camaro SS that Kid Yamamoto transforms into, the 5700 XE that the American Ninja transforms into does not use inert-gas pocket inflation for it's tires. Black Mamba - #3

Dark grey in color, sleek in design and standing at Kid Yamamoto's height, Black Mamba's construction consists of Aethrium and a unique nano-material featuring many times the strength of high-grade steel. While not quite as durable as the other Argonauts, Black Mamba is still highly durable in general. It's greatest quality however, is in the regenerative properties of it's design. It's nano-material was forged by synthesizing inorganic compounds like WS2, MoS2, TiS2 and NbS2 into nano-spheres and nano-tubes; inorganic fullerene-like nano-structures. Fullerenes, like diamond, are a form of carbon.

However, they are molecules comprised entirely of carbon, taking the form of either a hollow sphere, ellipsoid, or tube. These spheres are called buckyballs, and their cylindrical counterparts are called buckytubes or nanotubes. However, making use of his own specialized fullerene-like material that instead of being entirely composed of carbon, is reliant on other inorganic elements, Sage dodged the fact that organic fullerenes are highly toxic. Their inorganic counterparts however, are relatively safe, less reactive, chemically stable, and less flammable. The Argonaut's inorganic fullerene material is made of Tungsten Disulfide. This tungsten-based nano-material holds many times the strength of the best impact resistant materials of modern science.

In order to account for it's durability compared to the other Argonauts, the Neo Tesla designed Black Mamba with a self-repair feature essentially enabling the Mamba Armor to regenerate itself from sustained damage. As with virtually any physical structure, the Argonaut is not invulnerable. It can sustain damage in the form of tiny surface cracks that the naked eye cannot perceive. These micro-thin cracks can also form underneath Mamba's armored surface. The cracks will grow, weakening the armor, until a visible surface break occurs. In order to prevent these tiny cracks from spreading, an additional material was made part of Black Mamba's design. The majority of the self-repairing material is an epoxy polymer composite.

This material makes use of a micro-encapsulated healing agent which is essentially a glue that repairs the micro-cracks formed in the armor. This glue or healing agent is dicyclopentadiene. Tiny bubbles encapsulating the fluid are spread throughout the composite material during healing operations. However, in order to polymerize, the fluid requires a catalyst. A specialized catalyst is used, one that remains separated from the healing agent until a crack requires sealing. Whenever a micro-crack forms in Mamba's armor, it ruptures the armor's micro-capsules and releases the healing agent which then flows down through the crack to come into contact with the catalyst to initiate the polymerization process to repair the crack.

Unfortunately, this regeneration is not infinite in capacity, nor will it ensure that Black Mamba will always be repaired to it's optimum condition. The self-healing technology ensures that the damaged material regains a maximum of 80% of it's original strength, a percentage that gradually diminishes as more damage is sustained following each repair. Like the Argonauts before it, Black Mamba includes the same sensory, scanning, data management system, HUD display, digital tactical and environmental summaries etc. from it's on-board computer that it's contemporaries do.

Additionally, Black Mamba features a polymerized lithium nibocene layer that acts as it's system of artificial muscle and the source of it's great strength and blistering speed. The following are Black Mamba's weapons:

  • Coil-Gun: An extremely long-range weapon of unmatched accuracy, Black Mamba's primary weapon is a highly advanced coilgun which is a type of projectile accelerator consisting of one or more coils used as electromagnets in the configuration of a linear motor that accelerates a ferromagnetic or conducting projectile to high velocities. Emerging from it's face, it works as a single shot rifle with a low rate of fire and a maximum ammunition of 40 and a muzzle velocity of 10,000 meters per second. It fires slugs of high-density metal alloys such as depleted uranium and tungsten carbide at eight times the speed of sound. It operates as a bolt-action weapon with an accompanying flashlight and long-range laser pointer for increased accuracy. Though a powerful firearm due it's very high muzzle velocity and anti-material functions, it has a small magazine size and a low rate of fire.
  • Electrostatic Discharge: Using a semiautomatic fire mode, Black Mamba makes use of a powerful electrostatic discharge to fire a very powerful bolt of electricity/plasma from barrels that protrude from it's forearms. Despite it's long-range accuracy, the rate of fire however, is low.
  • Ferro-Cannon: A thin cannon that holds a reservoir of ferrofluid magnetically drawn into the firing chamber and expelled at lethal velocities, the Ferro-Cannon mimics a high-pressure water jet, and the propelled ferrofluid cuts through nearly any physical material and boasts a penetration rate of over 100 cm.
  • Laser Rifle: A shoulder-mounted rifle, the Laser Rifle is as it name describes, a laser-weapon. One of the Argonaut's directed-energy weapons, the rifle generates an initial targeting laser to aim at the target. Following a two second time period, the primary high-powered laser is then fired. This secondary, high-powered laser hits the target with a train of brief pulses of light, using the rapid evaporation and expansion of the surface to induce explosive shock-waves that severely damage the target. As it is a laser, the beam travels at exactly the speed of light.

A dark grey Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster, Black Mamba's vehicle form embodies the sleek and deadly design of it's Argonaut form. With a 6.5-lter V12 engine featuring 740 hp at 8400 rpm and 509 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm, the LP 750-4 accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, to 124 mph in 8.6 seconds, and to 186 mph in 24 seconds. Furthermore, the LP 750-4 also incorporates magnetorheological shocks, variable-ratio steering, and carbon-ceramic brake rotors.

The Monkey King - #4

Designed as an armored samurai with a vivid blue color scheme, the Monkey King features the same physical proportions as Kid Yamamoto and much like the other Argonauts, is a multi-layered system constructed with Aethrium and it's own distinct characteristics. Named after Son Wukong, protagonist of the legendary Chinese novel; Journey to the West, the Monkey King's innermost layer contains a molecularly woven cooling and heating system designed to regulate temperatures to either warm or cool for the pilot depending on the external weather conditions.

This cooling and heating system is linked to a feature which enables the Monkey King to match the infrared signatures of it's environment's current temperatures etc., allowing it to remain undetected in hostile locations. Additionally, the Monkey King is coated in a heat-resistant nano-material featuring a rapid-twitch reflex co-polymer that uses colloidal doped ceramics and a copper-based nano-lattice in an ethylene-buckyball matrix to protect it against large quantities of radiation and energy in addition to the energy-absorption qualities of the Aethrium in it's design. It's exoskeleton is forged from a combination of titanium and ceramic composite armor plating and Aethrium.

Sandwiched between it's outermost and innermost layers is a cushioning layer of liquid nano-crystals that offers extraordinary ballistic protection. Furthermore, the Monkey King features hardened plates of photo-reactive panels for subtle stealth and camouflage options. It's other components are constructed from a high-grade titanium alloy coated in a unique nano-material that acts as a heat dispersal unit. Like the other Argonauts, the Monkey King's on-board computer system not only assists in the pilot in the Argonaut's basic operations, but also provides them with environmental summaries, the ability to perceive the entire electromagnetic perception, and the same scanning and sensory technologies of the other Argonauts. However, unique to itself, the Monkey King's on-board computer connects itself to the consciousness of the pilot via a helmet.

This allows it to combine both the pilot's brain and the on-board computer to act as a data storage and management device for faster processing speeds etc. In addition to providing things such as thermal and motion sensors, and imaging and video technology, the Monkey King's on-board technology includes advanced filters to remove toxins etc. from the atmosphere and provide the pilot with oxygen by recycling carbon dioxide. Finally, the Monkey King uses 'nano-fibers' as it's system of artificial muscle. Made from ropes of carbon nanotubes twisted together into thicker yarns and set into paraffin wax, these bundles underwent an advanced and unique manufacturing process to render them extraordinarily strong. Coupled with their enhanced binding energies, this nano-fiber system, when exposed to heat or electricity contracts and reaches the realm of immense strength. The following are the Monkey King's weapons and features:

  • Magnetic Faculties: The Monkey King is designed with magnetic strips along it's legs, waist, and back used to hold any equipment with a magnetic property, primarily his twin 'Aethrium Blades'. Furthermore, the Argonaut also contains a magnetic-regulatory system on it's feet that enable it to stay attached to metal surfaces, a property that can be toggled on or off by the pilot.

  • Aethrium Blades: Styled to resemble katanas, the Monkey King's Aethrium Blades are forged primarily from Aethrium, a metal whose key feature is it's ability to absorb energy and release it in a controlled manner. These properties allow the Monkey King's swords to store energy in it's bonds and release it when needed. Though while they can store energy (and vibrations) in it's bonds to release said energy or enhance themselves in some form, the swords' energy-absorption qualities are not infinite. Because Aethrium has an incomplete energy transfer efficiency, the swords (like any material) can be overloaded with energy, causing a forced and uncontrolled release of energy if too much is absorbed by the swords. Generally, the Monkey King's swords are enhanced by heat or kinetic energy, however, they primarily store electrical energy in order to be reinforced by a powerful alternating current that resonates at extremely high frequencies. This oscillation is then used by the swords to weaken the molecular bonds of anything they cut.
  • Plasma Blades: Capable of assembling curved hilts which harbor energy storage modules forged from Aethrium and devices for projecting the plasma which forms the plasma blades, the Monkey King's secondary set of blades are not made from a highly durable metal but instead are blades of free moving electron-infused gas held in bladed shapes by magnetic fields. Because the blades are superheated plasma, their edges are extremely volatile against solid matter.

Unlike the other Argonauts, the Monkey King's primary vehicle form is not that of a car but instead it is of a VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing Aircraft). An atmospheric only aircraft, the Attack VTOL consists of a one-man cockpit and a rear section, extending one meter backward. Though at times the pilot may transform the Monkey King into a version featuring a tandem seating configuration in the event of a second passenger. At the top of it's rear section are a set of wings with turbofan engines mounted on gimbals at the ends, providing the Attack VTOL's main source of propulsion.

The front of the Attack VTOL features a target acquisition and designation system which includes cameras and sensors. On each side of the cockpit is a jump-seat extending backward that doubles as a landing skid. These skids may allow up to four passengers. Additionally, the Attack VTOL is armed with both anti-infantry and anti-vehicle weapon systems consisting of heavy auto-cannons, linkless feed auto-cannons that fire .50 BMG rounds, a munition launch system consisting of twin missile launchers mounted on the underside of the aircraft's landing skids, and two chaff pods to counter radar-guided missiles. When activated, they release copper nickel-coated glass fibers or silver-coated nylon fibers featuring lengths equal to half of the anticipated radar wavelength.

Similar in armored construction to Kid Yamamoto, Mr. Wonderful features a width of 4.5 meters (14.7 feet) and stands at a height/depth of 5.6 meters (18.3 feet). Identified by it's emerald green color scheme, Mr. Wonderful enjoys a significant percentage of Aethrium components, rendering it incredibly durable. In addition to it's toughness and physical durability, Mr. Wonderful features an on-board computer that offers digital summaries of the environment and acts as a co-pilot as well as providing others services such as a thermal sensory system etc.

Furthermore, Mr. Wonderful contains oxygen tanks which provide the pilot with breathable oxygen. However, in the event that the oxygen tanks are damaged, the Argonaut provides the pilot with alternative sources of oxygen. Exhaled carbon dioxide for example, can be recycled into oxygen. While the Aethrium in it's design is largely responsible for it's great durability, Mr. Wonderful's armored layers also include a robust transparent canopy made from a polycrystalline composite, possibly some sort of synthetic sapphire made with inter-layers to resist cracking and thermal damage. Furthermore, the Argonaut is constructed with full titanium core alloys and many a diesel engine per artificial muscle strands.

Shock absorbers are attached with magnetorheological dampers, enabling an appropriate sense of balance on an array of terrain in any situation. The complex labyrinth of balance plates and pressure sensors housed within the feet calculate the thousands of micro-adjustments per second required to perform maneuvers. Additionally, cooling vents maintain temperature and channel water through the circulatory coolant system, and hyper-torque drives facilitate muscle strands increased locomotion. A nuclear-vortex turbine maintains health checks and returned radio-chemical readings in excess of safety parameters. Flaunting more than one feature, the turbine can also be used to fire a directed thermal beam.

Due to it's size and powerful artificial muscle system, Mr. Wonderful is capable of moving very large and heavy objects. Furthermore, the Argonaut also features a sort of temporary flight or gliding system that relies on thrusters that project selectively radiated photons and mobile graviphoton thrusters to enable significant gliding and almost simulated flight. Mr. Wonderful also features a highly sophisticated scanning system that uses a variety of passive and active scanners ranging from visual, thermographic and radio detectors to radar and laser detection. Furthermore, it can provide long-range topographical scanning resolution and deploy an orbital multi-static grid of radar-emitting micro-satellites/probes that can deliver a digital elevation of the terrain at 15 meters per pixel resolution.

For slower scanning and rendering speed ideal for geological and biological prospecting, archaeological research and long-term security surveillance, it can lower to 0.001 millimeter per pixel while the spherical geometry of it's multi-static grid allows for exceptional cross-sectioning and a strong resistance to electronic countermeasures. Furthermore, Mr. Wonderful features an integrated parachuting system. The following are Mr. Wonderful's weapons systems:

  • Azidoazide Azide Cannons:The cannons shoot rounds containing micro-capsules of 'Azidoazide Azide', which is the most explosive chemical compound known to man. Azidoazide azide is a high nitrogen energetic material. A nitrogen atom bonded with another nitrogen atom creates one of the most stable molecules on Earth. Their electrons form an incredibly strong triple bond with one another which can usually only be broken by a molecule being struck by lightning. Why is this important? What does that even mean? That because the strength of the bond is so extraordinarily high, when two nitrogen atoms snap together, they release a ridiculous amount of energy. Azidoazide azide has fourteen nitrogen atoms, and owing to its molecular structure, none of the atoms are in triple bonds. Instead, they're in a loosely bound, high-energy state with an immediate desire to move to a more stable, lower-energy state, which means releasing a tremendous amount of energy in the process. As a result, azidoazide azide is extremely reactive and ridiculously explosive. Its sensitivity is to such a degree that its been determined as too sensitive to measure how sensitive it is. Azidoazide azide is so reactive that nearly anything can make it explode. Due to it's extraordinary reactivity, Sage has fitted the cannons with a device that generates quantum shields to lock azidoazide azide's structure in place, preventing it from moving to a lower-energy state, thus preventing spontaneous, unplanned for explosions. And as a secondary measure, the bow's device erects a field of perpetually replenished virtual particles around the micro-capsules containing the chemical compound, preventing all external forces from reaching it. It is only once the round has been shot and approached the target that the cannon issues an electronic command (information) through, instructing it to collapse the field of virtual particles and disassemble the quantum shield.
  • Acid Cannons: The acid cannons shout rounds that contain micro-capsules of fluoroantimonic acid, the strongest known superacid, or in other words, the strongest corrosive agent in the world. An acid is defined as a substance with the ability to donate a proton to another molecule nearby it. And a proton is a hydrogen atom that has lost its electron. The entire process is referred to as 'protonation'. The strength of an acid is measured by how willing it is to donate that proton. Weak acids for example 'drag' the proton, while strong acids 'hurl' the proton. To put fluoroantimonic acid's strength into perspective, it is 10,000,000,000,000,000 times stronger than sulfuric acid. In essence, this molecule looks for any excuse to fly apart. Once it has lost its hydrogen atoms, the remaining atoms of fluorine and another element, antimony, tear through everything else around them, ripping electrons off nearby molecules and leaving behind only organic goo as remnants. And because fluorine enjoys bonding with calcium, once the acid tears through the fatty organic tissue of the skin and muscles, the fluorine will burn through bone.

Mr. Wonderful's vehicle form is an emerald green Chevrolet Corvette (C7) featuring a 6.2 liter, V8 engine with 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque with an optional sport exhaust forged for 460 hp and 465 lb-ft. Furthermore, it features an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the LT1 V8 with the Z06's bodywork and chassis hardware. Furthermore, the Corvette also incorporates magnetorheological shocks, variable-ratio steering, and carbon-ceramic brake rotors.

Additionally, it's tires for one do not use inert-gas pocket inflation. Instead they use burst-proof single unit nanotube skeletons that provide the buoyancy and ride of gas-pocket tires, but are extraordinary durable. Furthermore, it's braking system, when needed, switches to an automatic twin that incorporates large disc brakes that bring the Corvette to an immediate but controlled stop. Most interesting however, is that while in it's car form, Mr. Wonderful features the default Corvette (C7) engine, but it also features a second engine. The second engine is a 6.2 liter, low-profile liquid-cooled hydrogen-injected ICE I/C micro-plant with an infinitely variable transmission.

The hydrogen fuel is burned at very high temperatures with a synthetic carbon/silicon catalyst for far better consumption than a modern, fossil-fuel engine.
